Actually I am feeling more encouraged about the game after browsing these forums, watching the vids, and checking out the links. I was a bit skeptical of the combat system at first but I think it might just work. We shall see when it goes live...

I would have to say a step in the right direction for uniqueness is perhaps giving the crafters more options for customizations. Allow them to make their own signiture , customizing the look of armor,swords,bows, pouches, bags, cloaks, clothing etc.…
