SBC, it seems that all you want to do in this thread is rant on about how I suck and your game is going to be awesome. If you want to do that, make your own thread.
Major - Exactly. I don't understand why people freak out when I am just trying to find some people to help me out. If you don't like how the game looks or my plans, don't play and don't post, unless you have something constructive to say. How hard is that?
Aethios - I started calm. SBC obviously can't read or is very ignorant, so I did what I thought was necessary. Notice how I said in the end "Maybe typing in caps will help you understand", or something of that sort, so obviously I was just trying to get it through his head that I don't care about HIS personal experience. Don't get me wrong, I want opinions of people, but he is a pestilent troll who has no business in my thread. You said that people come to this thread expecting to see a team of REAL game developers working on a REAL MMO and expect it to be going live soon. People shouldn't assume, as it "makes an ass out of 'u' and me." People's expectations are too high as well. As soon as they see "MMO", they expect Blizzard or Arenanet or some other major company to be coming out with the next best MMO. Wrong. I was learning C++, but I don't see a need to become a professional in a language yet when I have these tools set in front of me. If you were building a table and had a handsaw and a table saw right infront of you to cut a big, long piece of wood, you would use the table saw right? Same situation I am in. When I get into an environment where I need/will need to know a programming language, such as with a company or whatnot, then I will learn it if deemed necessary. Until then, I am going to use the tools set out in front of me to aid in my projects. Also, I know how hard is it to actually write an MMO, or any useful program, which is exactly why I am using Realmcrafter. I'm not going to address the rest of your post, as Jimmy covered everything that I would say.
Jimmy - Thank you for understanding me, and thank you for tearing Aethios's post apart. It better to see people who have some support like you than see people who have no regard for anyone else's passion or ambitions.

Uh.... define "real." If it's a game that you can play, then it's real. If you made it, then you're a real developer. One of the best lines I ever read was at Robert Rodriguez's 10 Minute Film School.
"Okay, so you wanna be a film-maker?" (Class choruses 'YES') "Wrong! You ARE a film-maker. The moment you think about that you want to be a film-maker you're that."
No truer words have been spoken. The same thing applies to writers and game developers. The minute you start writing stories or making games, you're a writer or a game developer.
Idealistic trash.
"Everyone in the world can be whatever they want to be without any work or effort, simply because they want to be!" Sorry kid, the real world doesn't work like that.
Using a premade kit that someone else wrote, and using the tutorial demo from said premade kit, and attempting to "add on" to it does NOT make you a GAME developer. Using the definition above, applied to the situation at hand that you're trying to defend, I could one day decide that I'm going to use the red squares instead of the black squares on my checkers board, and I'm now a game developer. You, and everyone else in the world, would laugh in my face. Why? I didn't invent checkers. I didn't even change the rules in any significant way. If I went to my next job with a resume that said "experience in development for the well-known board game Checkers" anyone who read it would immediately say WTF?
Learn some languages, learn to REALLY program and design, and for God's sake DEVELOP YOUR OWN CONTENT, and one day somebody might take you seriously.
Aethios...You, my friend, are a flat out idiot. If you would learn to read what I type, you might understand. I did not say that I was only adding on, I said I was changing it. I will repeat myself since you obviously ignored my other posts. I am a one man team, so it will take me a while to get everything completely my own, give it time and you will see. Don't make awful attempts at bashing me when you have no proof that you have any experience in game development, nor that you know any languages or have done anything useful. If all you want to do is attempt to bash me, get out of my thread. This is for people that want to help me out, not for people who criticize just to be a dick, such as you.

If you're going to post a reply, it's usually a good idea to have some substance. There's no need to call people names. I have nothing against you, and I think it's great that you're making an effort. Calling yourself a game developer, however, is an insult to all the people who make an effort every day to make REAL MMOs better for the rest of us.
What you're doing isn't development, it's modification. Don't insult the rest of us with your arrogant crap just because you want to act out your fantasies.
