Well i would like to add gameloading is in fact right you cant say a game is crappy after playing for about 5-15 mins. Also most people only see the little things in games then seeing the great things you can do in games and most have only played the BETA.

Wow, I havent been here in a while and I came back to find what? Gameloading STILL being his normal ignorant self. Telling people what they know and do and that you must do something tilt he nd to have an opinion.

So here's one for you, I HAVE played the game for a few months. I HAVE gotten to a high level and tasted pvp and pretty much everything the game has to offer.

I knew int he beginnign this game sucked, and like most people, if you can hardly play a game int he beginning, your prolly NOT gonna love it later. But since gameloading swears you must keep playing or else your opinion doesnt matter (which btw anyone with intelligence knows how ignorant that is) I played the game to its fulle xtent to give it an honest review. Heres my review

Graphics = dated but ive seen worse

    Gameplay = horrible

PVP = horrible and useless, doesnt require skill

Actually let me just stop here and sum it all up. This game sucks...period. The community is a few fanbois liek gameloading who tell you your opnion doesnt matter but his... for some odd reason does.

    Steer clear of this game...........................

Technically that is true, but you CAN say that the 15 minutes of time u played REALLY sucked, and its safe to say if the you prolly wont like the rest of the game. I never knew anyone who played a game for 15 minets and said "This is the biggest piece of crap game in the world" turn aroun and say wow its good now. So even if them saying the whole game sucks IS an assumption, 9 times out of 10 it will be an accurate assumption.

After being on the fence about trying out this game, I won't even touch it knowing that tools like gameloading are guarding the gates like a rabid pit bull.

your such a liar.you were already bashing the game before it was even released. In fact, you even said you had quit shortly after you played the game. how sad, to make things up just to get your point across.

why don't you sit back, stay quiet and accept you know nothing about this game?

There is also nothing ignorant about my posts. My arguement: "You have to play the full game first to see what the whole game is like"

Your arguement: "You can play the game for 5 minutes and already know what the entire game is like, despite the fact you haven't even come close to reaching all of the content".

its a no-brainer to see who is ignorant here.

p.s: Welcome back from your 3rd ban for trolling. don't you have any insults to throw out, like last time? Or why don't you create some more alt accounts of people who have died recently? because your sure to be banned again at some point in the near future.

Gameloading.. How many MMOs, exactly, are you championing at once? I swear I've seen you on this same crusade for at least 3 others.. I think LII was another one if I remember correctly.

As was said, you are still up on your high-horse deeming people's opinions valid or invalid based on your own personal gauge - as though you're some kind of authority. I dunno, maybe you think having a blog makes your views more valid (which by the way.. it doesn't)

Your view that people must play a game "enough" to have a valid opinion is a crock. Again.. what's "enough"? Who's to say? You? Either show us your credentials, show us some kind of clout that would prove your opinion as more valid than anyone else's.. or get off your high-horse, get over yourself and allow people their opinions.

Calling people liars because they say they've played the game and still didn't enjoy it only makes you look even more ignorant. How do you know how long they played? Were you there? The only way someone's telling the truth is if they agree with you? Seriously... who the hell do you think you are? I mean.. besides a self-proclaimed authority on anything you take an interest in.

A customer of any kind of medium - be it games, books, movies, music.. anything.. need only experience it long enough to know whether it appeals to them or not to have an opinion. If someone starts listening to a CD by some new band and 30 seconds into a song decides they really don't like what they're hearing.. they do not need to listen to the rest of the CD to have a valid opinion of it. If someone starts reading a book and are dozing off after the first chapter, they don't need to read the remaining 700 pages to know they aren't enjoying it.  Likewise... someone starting a new MMORPG does not need to play it to the "end-game" before they can determine whether they enjoy the game or think it sucks. If an hour is all it takes them to come to that realization, then that's as long as it takes.

So please... would you for once spare everyone the lectures and the dismissive comments and get it through your head that no one's opinion requires your approval to be valid.

Again.. get off the high-horse. Your opinions and views are no more valid than anyone else's. No. Seriously, Gameloading, they aren't. You do not possess the authority to silence or dismiss people's opinions any more than anyone else. No really.. You don't. And you sure as hell don't set the bar for what is a valid opinion. Again.. really.. You don't.

Debate all day long why you think it's a great game and why you keep playing it. Make suggestions to people as to things you think might help them enjoy it more. But stop trying to stifle people's opinions because you personally disagree with them.

The game is getting crap reviews everywhere. In magazines, in forums... It is widely held to not be a good game, compared to others on the market. There's gotta be something to that - and it certainly can't be that they're all wrong and you're the only one who knows what you're talking about - though I'm sure that must come as a shock to you.

P.S. I just noticed you don't even have Archlord listed in your sig as a game you're currently playing. So what the hell? You're on this tirade against anyone who dares peep a negative word about it.. and you're not even playing it yourself? What's that all about?

Because just like ArchLord, Lineage 2 is a game that should be played for a longer time to see what the game is all about. its hardly a crusade.

As was said, you are still up on your high-horse deeming people's opinions valid or invalid based on your own personal gauge - as though you're some kind of authority. I dunno, maybe you think having a blog makes your views more valid (which by the way.. it doesn't)

Its called common sense. would you take advice on how to drive a car from someone who never ride in  a car before? Ofcourse not. You can't judge something you have never seen or experienced. its impossible.

Calling people liars because they say they've played the game and still didn't enjoy it only makes you look even more ignorant. How do you know how long they played? Were you there? The only way someone's telling the truth is if they agree with you? Seriously... who the hell do you think you are? Actually, its because I have known SteveIrwin on this forum for a while now. This guy was already bashing the game around the time of release, and clearly stated he wouldn't play the game anymore. SteveIrwin has been insulting everyone who enjoyed the game, untill all of his accounts got banned. I'm not ignorant, unlike you, I know when I'm dealing with a troll.

A customer of any kind of medium - be it games, books, movies, music.. anything.. need only experience it long enough to know whether it appeals to them or not to have an opinion. That is merely your opinion. I have experienced plenty of times when I'm glad I got through the first pages of a book. In fact, I'm going to give you some examples. Take the Harry Potter books for example. if you read first few pages, you can't know that the book actually takes place on a magical school, and neither do you have any clue what the story is all about. Another one, Lord of the Rings. you can't know that there will be a fellowship going on a great adventure by just reading the first few pages (unless you read the backside of the cover ofcourse). you can only judge the first few pages, just like you can only judge the first few hours of ArchLord.

So please... would you for once spare everyone the lectures and the dismissive comments and get it through your head that no one's opinion requires your approval to be valid.

    No.

Again.. get off the high-horse. Your opinions and views are no more valid than anyone else's. No. Seriously, Gameloading, they aren't. I point out that opinion of many people such as SteveIrwin and others are based on the first few hours of the game and should not be taken for the entire game. I indeed do believe my opinion is much more valid then those of SteveIrwin and others who only played for a few hours. I experienced the entire game, I know what the full game is like. they don't. Its the same thing I would do if I wanted an opinion about anything, such as another game. if I wanted to know what the full experience in Lineage 2 is, then I would ask a veteran who experienced the entire game, and not some nay sayer who didn't even make it to the first class change.

Debate all day long why you think it's a great game and why you keep playing it. Make suggestions to people as to things you think might help them enjoy it more. But stop trying to stifle people's opinions because you personally disagree with them.

really? so now your going to tell me what to do? who is on a high horse now eh?

If I want to criticize someone else's opinion, I'll do just that. I don't criticize people's opinions merely because I disagree with them, I criticize people's opinions because they try to talk about something they don't know. When I see a post that says: "I didn't enjoy ArchLord, I reached the higher levels and didn't find it enjoyable", then you won't hear me complain. but when I see a comment "I played for 3 hours and the game totally sucks at everything!" then you can expect a slap in the face from me.

I dare you to find one profesional review that actually played the game for a good amount of time. To give you an example, the reviewer at Gamespot, widely considered as one of the best review websites around, made its character to level 7. You can check out the screenshots the reviewer made to see its true, I'm not kidding. to give you an example of how rediculous this is, ArchLord is a pvp centered mmorpg, a character can only take part in pvp after it has reached level 15.

P.S. I just noticed you don't even have Archlord listed in your sig as a game you're currently playing. So what the hell? You're on this tirade against anyone who dares peep a negative word about it.. and you're not even playing it yourself? What's that all about?

I'm currently busy with other things in my personal life, so I have littlle time to play MMO's. ArchLord is a very time consuming mmorpg, so I took a break. I'm planning to return once Episode 2.0 gets release, which will include the castle sieges (which, by the way, is content starting from level 60, further providing more means to not take people who judge the game the first few hours seriously)

My point has been made, I'm not going to change my posting behavior just because you don't like it I attack people who barely played the game. live with it. you can write another post of "Gameloading, please don't attack people!", it will fall on deaf ears. as long as people are not prepared to actually play a game first before they come here to complain about it, I'll write replies to them, simple as that. I already find it weird people spend so much time on a forum of games they don't even enjoy.

    Heh...

And there you have it folks.

Gameloading is the self-declared, self-deified lord of these forums. His word is golden and all who post here are subject to his scrutiny - because he says so.

Gameloading... In order to help you maintain your self-proclaimed position of ultimate authority in these forums, I'd like to give a few pointers.

First and foremost, you have to start referring to yourself in the 3rd person, and thus, always use pronouns that refer to yourself with a capitalized first letter. For example: "Gameloading believes you are not worthy of an opinion, and it is His view that you did not play the game long enough to express one in His forums."

Next, you should end every post with "Gameloading Has Spoken".

Oh, and be sure to refer to everyone else as "Spineless underlings" or "worms" or something else that clearly places you above everyone else you're responding to. This way there is no question that you, Gameloading, are the overlord of these forums and all who post here.

I think with those 3 things, you are well on your way to bearing the omniscient title of "Lord of The Archlord Forums" you so clearly have already given yourself.

... and it'll make it even more fun for the rest of us to laugh at you.

    On a more serious note...

In the end, I will submit this to you - You talk about common sense... Well here's a dose for you. No one has to play, or read, or watch, or listen to anything any longer than *they* personally deem it worth their time to know whether they like it or not. Believe it or not, Gameloading, most people are quite capable of experiencing something and then forming their own opinions on it, without requiring your personal stamp of approval.

At the end of the day, I think I can do a better job of summing up your view of this game better than even you have:

"If you don't like the game, I don't care how long you played, it obviously wasn't long enough and your opinion is invalid".

As for Lineage II... I played the game for over a year, got a BD to 64 and a PS to around 55. I did castle sieges, was part of  the first raid on my server to successfully take Antharas down after NC made him more difficult to defeat and was in my share of Castle Sieges, clan wars and all sorts of other content. I dealt with my share of RMT clogging every room in a Necro/Cat and have earned a fair share of karma killing them off. What's my opinion of the game now? As much as I loved playing a BD, I think the game is a joke, am glad I stopped playing and am never going back. Now, I suppose that because I didn't get a character to max level, you would say my opinion is invalid. Am I right?

To back up my view of why you are so far out of line in how you regard anyone here who posts a negative opinion of AL... When I was playing and still enjoying LII, when people would say it sucked or that it was just a grind, etc, I would _suggest_ (not demand, as you would) that people play the game a little longer to see a little more of what there is to do since the beginning can be a bit repetitive and boring. But ultimately, if someone played it for a few hours and said "Wow,  this is just a boring, repetitive grind" and they decide to quit - then you know what? That's their opinion. It's their time, it's their money and they are entitled to not like the game for *any* reason that it happens to leave them dissatisfied. It is not my place, nor anyone else's (including yours - I know you don't believe that) to dismiss or berate them for disliking the game. Even if they think it sucks. That's their opinion. End of story.

But by all means... carry on with your crusade.  I'm sure you'll get sick of it after a while and move on to something a little more worthwhile. Or maybe not.

I think with those 3 things, you are well on your way to bearing the omniscient title of "Lord of The Archlord Forums" you so clearly have already given yourself.

You didn't take the time to actually read my comments, I won't take the time to write a decent reply.

I hope you will find a better use of your time instead of hanging around on a forum of a game you don't even enjoy playing.the next time you want to debate with someone, its always a good idea to actually read what they wrote before you mouth off. if you had actually carefully read my post, you would have known my standpoints.

Gameloading you'r a dumbass man. You keep saying the same thing to people, but these people have probably more gaming experience in MMOs and other game stypes than you. All you say is play more before you say that, but with games (and especially very simple asian grind mmos) you can tell when a game is crap. Its like if you are forced to eat a peice of shit, you dont have to keep eating it to realise its shit.

Oh and driving a car is ALOT different from playing computer games, so that anology is totally wrong. Everyone has different opinions about things, and it just so happens that with archlord, many more people think its crap than think its a good game. Yea 1000 people might be playing it, but theres alot more who arent.

Most people in this day and age agree that there has to be more to a game than something  ucan do at leve XX end game. If the rest of the game sucks to you, you're obviously not gonna sit there playing it just so u can play the one thing decent in the game that will take you a year to do are you? That is common sense.

ohh namecalling, gotta love people like that, the maturity level drops faster then a brick from a building.

It could very well be possible that many people here have more gameplay experience then me, sure. moving on to the next part of your post.

"All you say is play more before you say that, but with games (and especially very simple asian grind mmos) you can tell when a game is crap. Its like if you are forced to eat a peice of shit, you dont have to keep eating it to realise its shit."

Honnestly the information you provide to back up your post is simply overwhelming.

But here, let me post a counterarguement, although it is obviously nothing compared to your incredibel constructive post full of opinions and information to back it up.

If I play for..lets say, an hour or two.I haven't even touched pvp yet, as the minimum requirement to engage in pvp combat is level 15.  I kill a few mobs with the extremely limited amount of skills I have at this level. do I now know what the pvp is like? do I know now what the pvp politics in this game are like? do I now know what the pvp areas look like? do I now know what the boss fights are like? do I now know what the game even looks like at other areas? No.

in fact, I can give you an example. At the start of the game, the PVP might seem to be your usual potion fest, the one who has the most potions wins. and you know what? This is actually true....for the first 20~30 levels or so. Because that is when it takes longer to level up. you will start to invest more in your equipen. you will do so much damage that potions don't even matter that much anymore in pvp fight.

Another one, at first it might seem to be the purpose to kill mobs 1 by one. and again, this is true, for the first 20 levels. but after that the game actually turns into more area of effect type PVE gameplay, and the 1 vs 1 skills are actually there pure for bosses and pvp combat.

My anology is bad? Thats rich, lets take a look at your anology.

"Yea 1000 people might be playing it, but theres alot more who arent."

wow, now thats a good statement. guess what:

There are more people who don't play WoW then that do play WoW, so that must mean WoW is a bad game.

There are more people who don't play Half life 2 then that do play Half life 2, so that must mean HL2 is a bad game.

by your anology, every game in existance is bad because there are more people who don't play it then people that do. priceless.

moving on to the final part of your post.

"Most people in this day and age agree that there has to be more to a game than something  ucan do at leve XX end game. If the rest of the game sucks to you, you're obviously not gonna sit there playing it just so u can play the one thing decent in the game that will take you a year to do are you? Really? And who is talking about endgame? Not I. Who is talking about a year? Not I.

Im talking about people with in the gaming communities. What i mean is that alot more people are playing better games than this.

And i played archlord to level 27, yea not end game but i experienced pvp, my own race attacked me while i was leveling and guess what, pvp in this game IS jsut about potions. Watch some high level pvp movies on youtube even, all just pot spamming. The attacks in this game are just to make nice graphical effects. Theres no skill or thought, and if there is, it doesnt even matter because if you have the largest pots you can get and have more you will win.

I dont have to post any information or anything about the game, its all been said. Its a piece of crap that looks nice, but it still smells like crap. And i dont like playing with poo.

Oh.. I was mistaken. The forums have a presumptuous overlord.

Actually, Gameloading.. I did read your replies. Every single one of them. More than once in some cases.

Now, did I find any one of them worthy of addressing specifically? No.

I found my response on the whole covered the overall tone of your entire response just fine. And mocking your attitude is alot more fun to me than repeating the same counter-points over and over again. They're falling on deaf ears anyway. Anyone who disagrees with you is immediately "wrong", and I much prefer debating with people who are actually capable of it.

At the end of the day... you are an ego-maniacal, intolerant and absurdly opinionated person who believes your views trump everyone else's and that it's your right to berate, scrutinize and ultimately dismiss anyone who disagrees with you. (that's a "description" by the way... not name calling, as I'm sure you'll hastily label it).

But I did read the replies.

Now.. to play Devil's Advocate - just to see how truly unbiased you are in your views (No pressure.. I know you aren't unbiased at all). You're saying you need to play a game to the end and experience everything it has to offer before you can have an opinion of  it. That alone is just ridiculous. Yeah.. everyone has to spend weeks or months of their lives playing a game they're not enjoying just so they can have an opinion that isn't considered invalid by some self-righteous poster on a forum somewhere. That's sure to win popular consensus. But I digress...

Now.. do you come down on people who are saying this game is amazing.. the best game ever and so forth just as harshly as you come down on those who say it sucks.. when they haven't played it 'til end game? Or even those who just say it's a really good game.

I mean.. if we want to be fair here.. you should be holding the same standard across the board. Can you point me to any posts you've made in response to people who say they think the game is great, etc. telling them that they really can't voice an opinion because they didn't play it long enough?

I'm not holding my breath on this one...

your mockery is actually quite funny to read. not because you have a good sense of humor, but mainly because you fail to see my standpoints and often claim things I have never said.  Just the fact you seem to think I think Anyone who disagrees with me is wrong proves you don't understand a lot of things I say.

You have already proven you don't understand my standpoints, you really don't need to back it up any further.

But I did read the replies.

Now.. to play Devil's Advocate - just to see how truly unbiased you are in your views (No pressure.. I know you aren't unbiased at all). You're saying you need to play a game to the end and experience everything it has to offer before you can have an opinion of  it.

Again, I am not saying you need to play to the end in all games, because this depends on the type of game.  ArchLord's main features come alive around level 50 ~ 60, and then only if you join a clan and get involved in the politics. there is no need to play all the way untill the end, but as long as you experience what the game is all about, your opinion is valid in my eyes.

That alone is just ridiculous. Yeah.. everyone has to spend weeks or months of their lives playing a game they're not enjoying just so they can have an opinion that isn't considered invalid by some self-righteous poster on a forum somewhere. That's sure to win popular consensus. But I digress...

They can have an opinion when not experiencing the full content, sure. of the first few levels. If you play untill level 20, then your free to judge the game up to level 20. what I do find highly annoying are the people who played the game untill level 20, and then start to scream the entire game sucks without even having a clue what they are talking about.

Now.. do you come down on people who are saying this game is amazing.. the best game ever and so forth just as harshly as you come down on those who say it sucks.. when they haven't played it 'til end game? Or even those who just say it's a really good game.

Not at all, because I honnestly don't mind people praising the game. I, however, am annoyed by people who come here with the intention to scare people away from the game, and thats why I "Slam" them. This is not just for ArchLord by the way, if you have a few hours to waste, you can look through my post history and see that I have always been annoyed by huge amount of negative comments with the purpose to keep people from playing a game in game specific related forums for any game, not just ArchLord or the games I play. Do I have the same opinion that people should play the game first? Absolutely, I just don't voice it to people who are positive. I'm all for a positive mindset, not a negative one.

If you go into a game section of which you KNOW there are fans and players of the game and you tell them the thing they enjoy just plain sucks, then you can expect people to comment on it.

I honnestly don't understand why people feel a need to go to certain game related sections of this forum to keep pushing how much the game sucks. If you don't like it, fine, move on and leave the people who enjoy it and are intrested in the game be.

I mean.. if we want to be fair here.. you should be holding the same standard across the board. Can you point me to any posts you've made in response to people who say they think the game is great, etc. telling them that they really can't voice an opinion because they didn't play it long enough?

I'm not holding my breath on this one...

    Just playing devil's advocate.

    And proving a point.

You could at least have the respect to actually READ my posts before you make silly comments.

Anyone who disagrees with you is immediately "wrong", and I much prefer debating with people who are actually capable of it.

your mockery is actually quite funny to read. not because you have a good sense of humor, but mainly because you fail to see my standpoints and often claim things I have never said.  Just the fact you seem to think I think Anyone who disagrees with me is wrong proves you don't understand a lot of things I say.

Well... you've finally qualified your rationale... In all your posts I've seen personally, that's a first. Though I still find flaw in it.

First, if someone plays the game for 10 hours.. or 5 hours.. or whatever... decides that - to them - the game sucks, I think it's pretty obvious they're commenting on the part of the game they played long enough to experience. If someone says "I played to level 10 and omg the end-game sucks!" then, yes, I'd be right there with ya telling them to take a long walk of a short pier. I haven't seen any such comments. In my experience, they're commenting on what they've played and I accept is as such.

So it seems to me that your real issue is with people making generalized comments. Which.. eh.. I could go either way on, really. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, 'til they prove themselves not worthy.

That said, I still do not agree that a player has to experience everything in a game (as in your example) to have an opinion. I think they can have an opinion from the moment they launch the game. They might hate the way the character creation is setup. That's their opinion of that feature. They might hate the way the characters move, how they attack.. They might hate the sound-effects or any number of things. But, most poignantly, when it comes to your typical Korean style grind-fest type MMOs (which I know Lineage II,  Rappelz and Last Chaos are - and I'm sure Archlord is in that same vein), you really don't need to see much to know whether you like it or not. Alot of people feel the grind sucks and it turns them off. So if they're going to say "The game sucks" based on that experience - then that is a perfectly valid opinion. Who wants to grind through 60-70+ levels like that if they're hating it by level 10 - just so they can have a "valid" opinion in someone's eyes? That's just unrealistic and unfair.

I have yet to see ANYBODY who talks in anegative way about admit that they only judged a part of the game. When you say you think the PVE sucks (which, btw, changes at higher levels, again further proving my point one should play the game for a longer period of time) then you dislike a part of the game, not the entire game, yet people keep yelling they dislike the entire game. speaking of which, nobody says they dislike a certain feature. most "haters" plain say it sucks. as if its fact.

You don't have to play it, you don't have to like it, but if you don't then don't come to a forum to tell other people how the "entire game" sucks.

I don't mind the negative opinions so much as  I do mind the fact that most of those opinions are assumptions.

But you're still demanding people to qualify their opinions in order to meet your approval. And that is simply an unrealistic demand to make. No offense intended by asking this, just take it as a direct, objective question: Who are you that anyone should have to satisfy your standards in expressing their views? You're a poster here, just like everyone else. It's especially out-there when you're telling people they need to play 'til end-game to really have a valid opinion. Are you going to continue playing a game you can't stand in the first 10 levels for another 70 or whatever.. in hopes that it's suddenly going to get better after some magic level? I would hope not, cause otherwise, I'd suggest you seek help for masochism.

Again... common-sense would indicate that if a person has only played 10 levels of the game - then that is all they can comment on. Saying the entire game sucks could also mean "everything about it that I've experienced sucks". And that' s a perfectly legitimate opinion to have. It doesn't have to mean "everything, from level 1 to end-game sucks", as you seem to be taking it. Again, if someone who played for 10 levels is saying it sucks at 60.. they're an idiot. Anyone with half a brain reading their post would realize that. Just ignore them.

Now that said... If you've played a few games of the same style and seen the same design patterns show up again and again each time, there's every reason to assume the next one will follow-suit. If you've seen it time and again, then that's a perfectly good reason to say the game offers nothing new. I've played Lineage 2, Rappelz and Last Chaos.. all of which have a very similar Korean-style grind to them. From what I've seen of ArchLord and what I've read, it seems to follow suit. So in my mind, why would I expect anything different? If I'm 10 levels into the game and it's playing out exactly the way the last 3 I played did.. why do I need to stick around another 60+ levels to see if it suddenly changes? If I enjoyed that kind of gameplay, I would never have stopped playing Lineage II, because it offers up that playstyle in spades. And to be told by someone that my opinion isn't valid because I didn't put in the time to get to end-game, when I realized far sooner that I wasn't enjoying the game at all is, frankly, laughable to me.

And I'm still not with you on the whole "you should play 'til the end game and experience anything before you have a valid opinion". It's like having the most delicious dessert at the bottom of a cup of something that makes you sick to your stomach. If you're retching and ready to vomit after the first bite, saying "this is terrible", how ridiculous would it be for someone to say "Sorry, you can't say it's terrible 'til you've gotten to the good part at the bottom"? Some people would likely throw it in your face and say "Fine.. you eat it". I know I  would.

I hope you do realize that Gameloading is just a forum junkie and has been for as long as I have been coming here.  He constantly pushes his opinion on EVERYONE and that has not changed since the first time I saw one of his posts.  I think he just picks a new game forum each month to enter and try and bully everyone out of.

Gameloading you, Sir, are the worst kind of troll on any forum anywhere.  A bully and post-count watcher, declaring your superiority to all who try to even speak up in a post which you take interest in.  This has been going on for a long time and if you notice I have been here a long time just as you and seen your antics personally over the years,  they haven't changed one bit.

If anyone should deserve a break from the forums it is you.  I know the rest of us would personally love to see it and get some peace and quiet for once.

I really completely fail to see why its unrealistic to ask someone to actually experience something first before commenting on it. And yes you bet I played games I didn't like the first 10 levels for another certain amount of time, and I'm glad I did multiple times. At first I didn't enjoy Ragnarok Online the first 10 ~ 15 levels. I spended two days of playing and I didn't enjoy it. Yet I kept playing just to see what the entire game has to offer. Do you know how long I played Ragnarok Online?

3 years. for 3 years, I have played Ragnarok Online. Same story as Lineage 2. I didn't like Lineage 2 at first all, yet again I was hoping that the same thing happened as in RO, and ultimatly I stayed with Lineage 2 for 5 and a half months.

Many games open up at higher levels.

Again... common-sense would indicate that if a person has only played 10 levels of the game - then that is all they can comment on. When saying "This game sucks", then I see it as common sense to see that the poster talks about the entire game, and not just the first few levels. I have yet to see someone be honnest and say that they played for XX amount of levels and I didn't enjoy the content up to that level.

Now that said... If you've played a few games of the same style and seen the same design patterns show up again and again each time, there's every reason to assume the next one will follow-suit. And that is, in my eyes, exactly the mistake many people make. When first playing ArchLord, it does indeed look like Lineage 2. lets just take on example, the PVE experience. The first 10 to 25 ~ 30 levels in ArchLord your killing mobs 1 by one, just like in Lineage 2. but then it starts to change. instead, you will be Area of Effect hunting now. it works imo quite intresting combined with the potion concept. you always have to consider how many monsters I should draw, which skills to use and more importantly, when to use those skills.

And I'm still not with you on the whole "you should play 'til the end game and experience anything before you have a valid opinion". It's like having the most delicious dessert at the bottom of a cup of something that makes you sick to your stomach. Actually I give a voice to my opinion and I debate with people about it who disagree with me. you know, the things forums are for? Just because I actually stand and debate does not mean I am pushing my opinion on everyone

I move to a new game forum each month to enter and try to bully everyone out? Thats just a horrible  lie.

For one, I RARELY visit sections of games I don't enjoy. I have never bullied anyonee out. I don't insult people for no reason.

If you would have actually read my posts for all these times, you would have known I'm against things like that.

I am a troll? I stick to the topics, I debate with people and I give my opinion. I don't pull out flame wars or insults fight. no matter how much you would like to believe, I'm not a troll. You on the other hand come here and bash me, spread lies about me and you add nothing to this topic at all, So what would that make you then? I'm sure you can fill that in yourself.

I also find it funny you declare me a post-count watcher. I dare you to find one, just one post where I have bragged or even have hinted towards being proud of my post count. Truth is, I never cared. in fact, the only one who seems to care is you.

If anyone should deserve a break from the forums it is you.  I know the rest of us would personally love to see it and get some peace and quiet for once.

I normally don't bring it up as I really don't care about it, but I guess its quite fitting in this post.

As you claim to have been here for a while, I'm sure you must have seen the poll where people could vote for which poster's post they agree most with.

    Guess who won 2nd place?

So I guess there goes your wishfull thought that everyone has the same opinion about me as you do.

Please take your lies and trolling to another forum, there is no need for you here.

Actually I give a voice to my opinion and I debate with people about it who disagree with me. you know, the things forums are for? Just because I actually stand and debate does not mean I am pushing my opinion on everyone

But you don't debate, GL. You strong-arm and speak in absolutes and dismiss people's opinions wholesale based on your own home-grown "standard" of what a valid opinion is.

Here's an example of what a debate would be:

Poster: This game sucks! It's the worst game ever!

Debater: Well, what sucks about it? What parts of it don't you like that you think makes it the worst game ever?

Poster: Everything! The whole game is a joke!

Debater: Everything? So you've played the entire game and are commenting on every part of it? How much of it did you actually play?

Poster: I got to level 10, but I can tell already it sucks.

Debater: Okay, so you can't say the whole game sucks since you only got to level 10. So what about the game up to level 10 do you think is a joke? I'm looking for specifics here. Battle system? Quests? Gear? What?

    ... and on and on...

Debating someone is getting them to qualify and defend and back-up their points-of-view. In doing that, often times you'll reveal if they actually even have a clue of what they're talking about. Someone in the Anarchy Online forums posted such a thing, stating that he got to level 300 as a way to prove he'd played the game. Ironically, the game only goes to level 220.
So he was obviously full of it.  I call that shutting someone down, and it's a hell of a lot of fun to do. In all, though, obviously *something* about the game made them think what they do. You don't dismiss them outright for not having played the whole game, but you certainly call them on what they have. Another thing I see you do is make assumptions of people and then respond to them. You assume someone didn't really play 'til end game. Do you ask them? No. Do you qualify their comments to see if they really know what they're talking about? No. You just assume they didn't, and try to shush them accordingly. Sometimes asking probing questions like that might reveal that they misunderstood a part of the game, or weren't aware of it - well now you've got the opportunity to educate someone on something that might well turn their opinion around once they know about it. I've seen that happen many times as well.

Now in your case, what I see you do quite often could be summed up like this:

Poster: This game sucks! It's the biggest joke ever!

You: You obviously didn't play the game enough to see what it's like at the end-game, so your opinion means nothing. You're of no use here, so leave.

That's obviously a very condensed version of what I've seen you do... but it pretty much summarizes it. That is not debating. That is not qualifying. That is just outright telling someone they're wrong, their opinion doesn't count and basically telling them to leave.

Anything negative expressed about the game results in your telling the person they obviously didn't play long enough and so their opinion doesn't count. I've seen you do that time and again. And again, I've never seen you do this to people who post rave reviews of it after not playing it 'til end game. How can someone really say it's a great game if they haven't played 'til end game? I've only seen you pounce on the negative posts, which does make you seem very biased and not at all consistent in your judgement.

And by the by... you *do* bully people. I myself have debated you in the past on telling people to stop posting if they don't like the game. You'd even said once that you'd be sticking around until the people who didn't like the game stopped posting in the forums and let the people who did enjoy it discuss it. Which is, of course, not only unrealistic, but also a ridiculous thing to expect. This isn't "1984" and we certainly aren't sharing an Orwellian society on a message forum where people are censored from voicing negative views. Forums are intended to host opinions of all kinds - positive or negative.. or otherwise.

I move to a new game forum each month to enter and try to bully everyone out? Thats just a horrible  lie.

I have to admit, I've seen you on other games' forums pretty much rallying up the same type of dialog. Telling people their opinions are invalid and attempting to shoo them out of the forums if they disagree with you.

Unforuntatly, it is impossible to debate with someone who does not know what he is  talking about. I'm sorry to inform you that I'm in my right to chose what I consider a valid opinion. Played the game for a good amount of time? Experienced most of the content? Then you can debate over a game, but not when someone only played a part of the game and the rest of the game is speculation for him.

    ... and on and on...

Because again, I actually played the game. Those who played the game can easily pick out those who actually played it, and those that didn't get further then the first few levels. your AO example is a perfect example.

You at least admit its a very condendsed version. let me fix that, its an EXTREMELY condensed version of what actually happens. not going to write a detailed response to that.

Anything negative expressed about the game results in your telling the person they obviously didn't play long enough and so their opinion doesn't count.

Again, far from the truth. It would be wise if you would actually read all of my posts instead of just looking in one thread and judge all my posts on that.

Seriously, read my posts. its really annoying now, I have already explained why I don't write replies such as that at them.

Thats hardly bullying, Please look up what the word actually means.

Moving on, its a Game. just a game. if you don't like it, move on.

Yes, and I'm sure this thread has not helped you get an unbiased view of my posts. Let me clear it up for you, the ONLY other games of which I said "Play for a reasonable amount of time" in concerning sections are Lineage 2 and to a certain extent RF Online, thats it and all.  I do not move from "Forum to forum" with the intention to bully people out, thats simply a downright lie. there is no arguement, its fact.

But honnestly, I'm tired of you Mike. You have proven again and again that you barely understand any of my points, Nor do you understand anything of my posting behavior, and you have thrown in a couple of lies to further back up your arguement.

You will be added to my block list from now on,  My advice to you is to carefully read what other postsers post next time you want to go into a discussion with someone
