With all those wow topics i can say only this.

If you want superb open pvp total freedom huge world with original gameplay no lvls skill based and many more amazing gameplay DFO will be game for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DFO is not for carebears and casuals.

 

Nobody force you to play a game like this so flames are stupid.

 

DFO is tailormade for hardcore pvpers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Ehm? I seriously thought that Darkfall was dead... so you're actually saying that this game -will- be released?`

    I've been scouting their page since it's release, but after a while (read; forever) I got fed up with the non-updates so I stopped going there alltogether.

    And from what I see today I can't see any sort of updates either.

    I for one would love to see this game live and I would in fact play it. But I still have serious doubts that it'll happen. No updates and no nothing for months and months and months.

    Not that surprising that people lose interrest, is it?

    that is a sweet sight for those that want this game, but my favourite video is still this one clicky

    i doubt it will ever be as mainstream as WoW, AoC, WAR, VSOH etc - but i'm glad for that

    we still wait for beta, which is whenever it is... next month, next year, or next decade

    Dan Fortier was right in one of his latest reviews..

    Darkfall is vaporware.

    It's sad that I've finally agreed with this conclusion, for I've been following this game for 6 years. SIX YEARS!!

     

    It's going to be so long since this game is released that the engine will be too outdated in the first place.

    The amazing thing, is the video's and screens don't show very much of the DFO game world.

    It all makes sense now. It's some sort of hoax. And if not, close enough for me.

    Just the other day is when I gave up. I've ranked up well over 8000 posts on the DFO forums.

     

    Darkfall will NEVER be released, and even if it ever is, I will REFUSE to play it, simply for the fact that it's crushed my hopes far too many times.

    All the times they've teased us saying "oh yeah the game will be released into closed beta next year".. 2 years later, saying the same damn thing.

    But Shadowbane and Darkfall are totally different games (The only similarities are that they both Center around PvP and have 3d graphics), read the Darkfall FAQ and be enlightened, you can't gimp your character with one false point in Darkfall like in Shadowbane you can as in Darkfall you can train every skill so much you want freely (much like in UO.)



    Also, you can't make a mega alliance that takes over the whole world in Darkfall as there'sl no teleports in Darkfall like in Shadowbane, as long as we know, I would say Darkfall is nearer to EVE/UO than it is to Shadowbane.

    Common people, don't get hopes up for new studios. Most times, they fail. Ive been let down 4 times. Just wait till its out, no point in following it just to be let down.

    Dark fall will rule the games that are out and may rule for years to come !

    The main thing  that is diff  is you skill up on what you use and do and no matter what bace so called lvl you are you can be the fastest runner if that is all you do .

    Do you get it ?  Every thing breaks wears out  money only comes from work that kind of game is what i like and darkfall is going to be a great game!

    Conan to , i will try it out first because its comeing out first hehe !

    Well I see how you would come to that conclusion.. but just to humor you, My forum account is deleted.

    And on another point, I'm not 17 or under.

    One of the greatest aspects of the internet is that the way it was created, and the way people respond to it's existance, is amazing. It's a virtual world where one can lie about his age on public forums so as not to be a target of malicious users whom may or may not have the intent of procuring and sending keyloggers or anything of the sort in my direction, for anyone under 18 is usually not suspected of using the web for anything important, such as paying my bills or logging on to government sites.

     

    Please ask a question about your doubts before assuming. Or better yet, if you think someone is full of shit, it solves nothing pointing it out on a game website. Only thing it does is causes one to make up some drastic excuse and makes people waste their time reading it.
