I'd like to know what everyone worste experience in an MMO was, like being robbed blind, or otherwise going into a coma over something or another.
I think it's the objective of your past self to make you cringe.

Hands down my worst experience ever was having my game changed drastically not once but twice within 6 months.
I'm looking at you SOE
playing WoW
But yes the SWG "upgrades" sucked as well ... but still playing WoW is number 1.
I'd have to say EVE.
Uninstalled it after the first day.
The way SOE and LA treated SWG and it's community. Started off as such a nice ommunity, slowly turned into bitter haters and it was no longer a nice place to be.
Alot of people left after JTLS anyways, cause it was sooo crap.

Having my account "Temporarily suspended" until I pre-pay to play what I have already payed for, when I never wanted to pay again, after what i just payed for bored and disgusted me.
All they want is pay, pay, pay, and then you pay for paying.

WOW's so called "PVP" - #2
We've got some good ones, keep em coming!.
My personal worst experience is actually deciding to pay for Lineage 2, I don't know what I was thinking... that the armor looked cool I guess...

The nation was never the same after that. A few tried to stick together and start a new town, but they joined their town with a shitty nation, and the rest of us were spread out in other towns. We never got back together in full again. But it was fun while it lasted.

got it a year after release... could not get on my server (argent dawn) to play with my guildmates...
Deleted it a couple days later.

Killed a damn good game for me.
1) EVE: I thought it was pretty cool until I started looking at the big picture of what it would take to get anywhere in it. I didn't like the skilling system of juggling seemingly infinate timers. I wasn't all that crazy that I couldn't walk around out of my ship either. Perhaps if they had spaceports you could walk around and mingle in it would have been a better experience. EVE was just wayyyy to repetitive and you pretty much have to give your soul for probably (I'm guessing here) 6 months to even become competitive in the least.
2) tie DDO/GW: another game I liked at first but it felt like I was playing alone. I barely saw anyone and when I did they weren't very receptive to grouping. I guess DDO was a bigger let down than GW because jesh D&D is the great greatgrandaddy of all RPG. I still rate it a tie because it was a similar gaming experience.
3)Ryzom: so many people said how great this game was I tried it not once but twice. I couldn't get into wandering around in a world of green surrounded by bugs. I didn't care for the character models a whole lot especially the trykers (sp) I was frustrated by the combat system too. I skilled melee and magic equally. I would grind xp on mobs and I'd be beating one after another up but every once in a while it resist several casts ina row and I'd get my ass handed to me. I'd pull out my sword and resume grinding the same mobs and I'd shred through them like butter. I can't say it was my worst experience in a game but I just couldn't get into it.

Waiting on Guild Wars 2
Having someone turn traitor on a guild in shadowbane and deleting the main city after successfully fighting off a major seige. Things like that really killed that game, and just kind of ruin the experience for everyone.
2nd worst would be the hours spent pressing the spacebar key and jumping around waiting and waiting for afkers/strategy discussion/whatever during 6 hour raid runs in WoW, thank god for BC.
How many delicate flowers have you met in Counterstrike?
I got a case of beer and a chainsaw waiting for me at home after work.
