This game has got to be the best game i have ever played. There is so much shit to do in the game. And its insanely addictive, so if you havnt tried it go out and buy it. It will be the best thing that ever happened to you! ^_^................ You will get  hooked on it like a whore on heroin.

Haven't been out and about in the MMo community much if this is the best, but I will agree it was addictive at one point, but the Expansion was such a let down. I'll be curious to see if the expansion this next year will introduce new stuff or just be a big content patch like BC.

Actually, a few weeks ago I would have agreed with you.  But I managed to break the spell.  After 2 years of playing this game I am done.  And once I realized I was done, the addiction released me. 

How did this happen?  I realized I spent more time mad than happy.  To much stuff goes on in the game that is just pissy.  Mostly because there are too many players doing too many things that have too much negative impact on the game play experience of others.  And the rest is stuff that Blizzard does intentionally.  I think many casual, mature players are leaving WoW.  Expect to see their numbers begin to dwindle.  IMHO

Actually I agree with the poster...from his point of view.;  A new player playing WoW has a great play experience , in my opinion .  The early and mid game is without equal; as long as the newbie doesn't start coveting high level equipement.  Blizzaerd did a wonderful job on the game...the only thing they have never adapted to is that a huge number of players WANT that experience bar, they want a way to permanantly improve their charactor, not just get better gear that is going to hopefully be replaced in a few days.  and the hardcore players simply eat up the game way too quickly, hampering the normal players from feeling good about their progression.

They really should have made leveling take a bit longer and added an experience penalty for playing a single char over 4 hours in a 24 hour period in addition to their great idea of rested experience.  Adding alternate advancement experience would also be a good thing for those that really like permanant improvement.

...but for a newbie, the game is really great.

Well I can proudly say that if you do not like this game than you havent done 2 things. 1) Watch videos posted on www.youtube.com and search up World of Warcraft, 2) Play it

Dudes you have to go to www.warcraft.trei.ro/video.php?ifd_video=12 the video is awsome it shows all the new armor sets there are in Burning Crusade but the web site was made in germany but the stuff related to WoW is in english.

Your server must suck because if you left because of "negative players" you must have your head in your ass, on my server and a bunch of other servers i ahve played  there are the nicest people you could meet. Me being one of them i hook my friend up with stuff when they need it and they hook me up, they run me through instances, i run them etc etc. We are one big happy family, so maybe you find a new server and be happily addicted again

I can't help but love WoW.  I love the community, it's active, it's huge and it's exciting.  The game runs like a dream, looks beautiful, and it's just the best game to play with friends imo.



I like other MMOs too, and I miss the old EQ days, but WoW is definately a wonderful place.

Ummm? SWG had "way more stuff" than WoW?  Care to elaborate?  Did you actually play SWG pre NGE?

Ive played WoW for 2 years and i regret all of it. I agree its addictive but thats a very bad thing. and once you hit 70 (yes i played the expansion) its just like it was when you were 60, the same dungeons every night till the next patch comes out.

please  go read on the mmorpg's history , and another thing wow community has not more than 20 years old average age at best , if you compare to eveonline which have a average age of 27 years old said by the devs themselves.

last comment,  their no best only different kinds of games for different peoples exmPLE  i love eveonline to me it's a good game and i have fun in it , but i dont think it's the best . i dont hate wow my friends at work play it and it's their first mmo .
