I think people need to just let this thing die and be forgotten( I guess it already is.).....people followed Vanguard for years, it was a massive disappointment in every way, and the bitterness and outright outrage of the vast majority who played it is amazing. It really does sound like Darkfall is in alot of trouble but they're keeping it quiet, most likely they were like Vanguard in that they were trying to create something that was way unrealistic for their time and resources. They probably really did want to create somethng that defined the genre...but it probably doesn't actually have half of what it claims to have. I watched the trailer too and thought it was damn amazing, but after hearing its been in development for 7 years with little word on what's happening with it...its pretty suspicious.

Dont be ignorant. Darkfall is far from be forgotten. The game has plenty of time and money so it wont end like up like vanguard. Just another ill-informed player that has no idea of what he speaks of. Look into it yourself instead of just taking the word of a troll.

Why have there become so many carebears here in the DF forum so suddently? Most gamers just walk it off.....many have been waiting since 2000. The DF devs played MMOs back then.....and they talked about DF. Things take time to create. Aventurine is not Blizzard.

it doesnt cost me a thing to hope this games comes out as promised. Its kinda like the lottery, if it happens great if not, no big deal to me.
Also the game is worth it just for forumfall...if nothing else it will be famous for that.
And Warhammer is not going to be a great PvP game. AoC maybe but Warhammer as planned doesnt have any depth to its pvp.
