Diablo 3

So are they going to make a Diablo 3? I mean at the very end of Diablo 2 expansion the world stone is destroyed but what happens to Baal's stone? He drops it when he dies. Doesn't that mean its still on? They need to make a third Diablo! What do you think?

    I'd love it. But to be honest and fair, it's Starcraft's turn now. Which i'd love as well .

    Battle.net is the way it was meant to be. Thats what makes people love Starcraft and Diablo 2 so much. But yeah, I love the series and I am waiting for the day that a new one comes out! Keep it classic!

    Well, You will be seeing 3 new blizzard game's announced this year, Blizzard said 1 of them will be a new MMORPG nothing like WoW starcraft 2 should be announced this 16th and Diablo 3 is rumored for the end of the year.



    So lets all hope that they don't delay anything this year :D

    Aren't there rumours that the MMO could be StarCraft Online and that this one might be announced 16th of May (so no StarCraft 2 but an MMO instead)?

    Starcraft 2 has my vote, I honestly like Diablo more but... there is already Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3, but no starcraft 2 :O... soo yeaah, I'm happy either way.. except a new warcraft... I have had enough of freaking warcraft !!

    Diablo 3 would drown in all the other fantasy dungeon crawlers out now, and many more soon released.



    Starcraft  MMO would be like rain after a year drought.

    To be honest I dont hope they make a Diablo MMO or StarCraft MMO... I would like to see a StarCraft 2 or a Diablo 3 with the old Battle.Net system. But giving Diablo 3 the World of Warcraft gameplay wouldent be too bad :)

    it would be stupid of blizzard not to make starcraft or diablo a mmo.....they would possibley make the money they made from wow all over again...so ill say it again it would be STUPID of blizzard not to.

    Fianlly someone smart, I love the ppl that say "Well if they make another MMO World of warcraft will die out, But really if they made a SC or D3 MMO they will be making a crap load more money then they are now because of there old and existing players now.

    I don't know about a SC MMO, but a Diablo MMO could have a ton of potential to be great, as long as they keep the style relatively the same.

    Im pretty sure they are talking about both diable and star craft coming as mmos. I believe the article that has people hyped for sc mmo  says something like blizzard will be focusing on mmo making for all types of gamers and that all of their big names will become an mmo.

    Actually i dont think Blizzard wants to make another fantasy game no matter what (even Diablo) coz theyr already have one.

    I thinks it'd be smarter to do Starcraft first and then think if WoW neds a replacement.



    But i'm confiddent that whatever they do they'll do it good

    Flagship studios was making a game called mythos which was supposedly a diablo 2 clone, however you could play as orcs and trolls and crap like that so they mustve lost whatever it was that made diablo 2 good and decided to simply rip world of warcraft off.  I think they bought the game from another company, they've also stated its mainly to test online stuff in hellgate london, and it seems to be being made as slow as humanly possible, so ya not worth looking it up.  Check up on it in a year or 2 if your still into diablo 2 style games .

    Guild war's have all 3 henchmen, Javelins and corpse explosion.

    Well, I don't know about an actual Diablo sequel, but have you seen Hellgate: London? It's made by a company formed by ex-Blizzard employees, I think Bill Roper and a bunch of people from Blizzard and Blizzard North (Blizzard North was the branch that made Diablo). Alot of people are saying it's the spiritual successor to Diablo, and I hope they're right.

    i agree with an earlier post, if diablo3 is another dungeon crawler... aren't we all tired of the birds eye view and point and click?

    they do something different i'll get it but otherwise no thanks.



    i voted for sc2. and yes a SC MMO would be nice. i dug WoW, and have faith they can do a good job for SC also. would be fun RvRvR yay.
