rofl I have to say, gl0bunny is pretty much a troll really and I totally forgot that block actually works now so I may well just start blocking all the vaporware trolls at this point, he/she(?) has argued several times on different threads and has done nothing but slam darkfall or insult other posters, I don't see the point in arguing with people like that because when you do they either continuously say your wrong or they just resort to insulting you, that's usually a sign you've won.
Quoting people doesn't make you clever, in fact, it makes you all the more stupid for not bothering to read the quotes you post in the first place.

Look, this argument is like beating a dead horse, so I'm going to point to a very simple and obvious statement:
"I was originally planning to give you a preview of the game in this installment but I didn't have the time to put it together." -Tasos
Now, if you really look at that post, it speaks clearer than anything else. And if you put it together with this following statement:
"Kjetil and I pretty much spent the day with him and we really need to get back to work, I think his feedback on his visit is probably better than whatever we could say right here."
It makes even more sense. So let me see if I'm clear here, Tasos and Kjetil have time to wine and dine a random guest who is going to do nothing but talk the game up, but they don't have time to show the rest of us (who have been begging for solid information for years) anything because they "don't have time"?
This makes ZERO sense. How do you have an entire day's worth of time to chit chat with someone, yet you don't have 2 hours to make a comprehensive video for your 10k+ fans? ESPECIALLY when you have people questioning this game every single day, and you've missed multiple deadlines (I don't care if they were internal or not - if they were internal, why were they ANNOUNCED TO THE PUBLIC).
Plain and simply put, this developer journal did exactly the opposite of what it was meant to do. It's made me less interested in this game, and believing less that it will in fact come out.
Think about another thing here. They spent an entire day with this guy, but couldn't fix the servers during that time? This either shows something flaky is going on (as in this is a bullshit excuse to pretend they are farther than they are) OR they have serious bugs causing issues on internal-only beta. If it's the latter, and you go back to their statements that they don't want a beta until they've basically worked out everything prior to that beta, don't ever expect a beta.
Bottom line: Don't expect anything to move as far as this game is concerned. Anyone who wants to argue this point, please feel free - I fear you are wasting your breath.

So that I don't get done for breaking the NDA I'm going to say this in the vaguest terms I can for you, Chronicles of Spellborn is having very similar 'technical' issues at this moment in time and it's been going on for awhile now, I won't say when or where, but it is not an uncommon thing to happen in beta stage, my point is that these comments are proving nothing and are just speculation, no one REALLY knows what's going on in Adventurine so that makes comments of either side false regardless of how well we can argue, until the game is officially released or declared vaporware niether side will be right so all this bickering is rather pointless in my eyes which is why I choose to block the ones who just won't pay any attention to what has been said.
Quoting people doesn't make you clever, in fact, it makes you all the more stupid for not bothering to read the quotes you post in the first place.
Trolls in general manage to tick me off some really, I see nothing wrong with blocking them if that what is what it takes to get their incessant rambling off the forums.

He saw a demo of it which (from what they said) had features that we havent seen or heard of.

Yes they do and heres why. This person's review means alot more than another list of features because now what they've already said is being validated by a 3rd party. Also if you want solid info just wait till his review comes out about some features.
This makes ZERO sense. How do you have an entire day's worth of time to chit chat with someone, yet you don't have 2 hours to make a comprehensive video for your 10k+ fans? Wow this part is just COMPLETELY void of logic. How are people going to question the game's existance when someone has just played it? Missing deadlines comes with the profession just look at other games. AoC missed its date 5 times.
Plain and simply put, this developer journal did exactly the opposite of what it was meant to do. It's made me less interested in this game, and believing less that it will in fact come out.

Do you know how servers work choas? Good bet that you didnt especially if that server was being rented through someone else and than they really didnt have much power fixing it. Technical problems happen all the time and coming to baseless conculsions is something ridiculous.
Bottom line: Don't expect anything to move as far as this game is concerned. Anyone who wants to argue this point, please feel free - I fear you are wasting your breath.

Elite, i believe you should just ignore gl0bunny, hes looking for attention and the more you respond to him, the more times he'll reply. Just ignore him like we all do and get on with enjoying darkfall
On another note, I expect darkfall closed beta to be sometime in 2008 (I don't like to get my hopes up, although i am thinking realistically)
I'd expect open to be late 2008 , release 2009 . (This is just a guess and i have no proof to back this up)
Wow this part is just COMPLETELY void of logic. How are people going to question the game's existance when someone has just played it? Missing deadlines comes with the profession just look at other games. AoC missed its date 5 times. Guess what? Ever hear of a game called The Chronicle? By some flunky, full of crap devs named MMOcenter/Rapid Reality? Those of us who pre-ordered their soon to be found non-existant game asked continually for proof of the game on their forums. All we got were one or two screenshots, some concept art(sound familiar to Darkfall, yet?), and a whole lot of "features lists". Then they decided to fly some "random" guy to their studio to play the game, so he could tell us it was in fact real and totally awesome. Which he did tell us. Until we found out later, because we questioned those devs the same as DF devs are being questioned here: why should we believe one dude who says he saw it and played it, when we can't eveb get a damn video? Few weeks later, site shut down after it was announced that The Chronicle was nowhere. So, I'd say the one completely void of logic is the DF fanboi who's forum name really does describe him. On the contrary this dev update shows that there is actually a game. Glad you see it, cause most of the rest of us don't.
