what do you mean by "One word. Anti-aliasing"? Not quite sure what it is, although I know its a form of rendering. Also, they haven't given us a reason not to trust software from Russia so i don't see the problem.
I think that was referring to the fact that there's a very significant amount of pirated software coming out of Russia. A lot of the more well known crackers are based out of there. There's other reasons as well---quite a few computer viruses have come from there, and there's a lot of shady dealings on the Russian end of the internet.
It's a more than a little paranoid to assume that would have any effect on this game, however. Some of the best games of the past ~8 years have come out of Eastern Europe, including Russia. Of course there have been equal amounts of total crap coming out of that section of the world as well, though...anyone seen some of the dreadful budgetware that comes from there? (Not that the rest of the world is any better...)
And hey, if it wasn't for Russians (although at the time they were the Soviets, same people however), we wouldn't have Tetris, ffs.
I'm a tad skeptical but this looks like it could be a really good game. Now if they will produce space travel I'm all over it. Once its released I'll definitely be giving it a look though.

Mate this rarely happens when the forum does not accept your e-mail for some reason... I had that nyself a couple of times at other phpBB driven forums. Just try registering with another mail. We don't have admin confirmation there so if everything goes right you just get your e-mail in a matter of seconds.

To Ulani: Wel technically you can't join a brothel... according to info we have so far only ome mafia NPCs can be found there... Imho these "brothels' have only been pointed out to arouse interest and will not be implemented at all but we shall see...
As for age groups - the game certainly does not have things like sex (promised in Conan) and the like but then again things like killing players arent all too pretty for a young mind either... It's a question of ethics and morale and first and foremost it just deals with how you bring your kids up. I have 2 myself
The fansite is doing great and there are lots of translations coming in now. Once you've read the official forums be sure to register there, it's the best we have until there's an English-speaking official forum. If it gets big enough then maybe Sibilant will let us run beta constests, and they will be able to see the level of support for the game outside of Russia.
I've got a good feeling about this game as nearly every idea is original and fresh. I love the alien art-style as well. We'll see if it delivers but with the game being a free download then if it does suck then at least you've only lost the $10 sub.

Its just that i thought it kinda acqward to post in the open beta section while the game itself is still in closed beta But I am trying my best to establish good connections with the devs so when the opne beta comes our fan site members have some free beta accounts.
YES!!!! They have a new revolutionary pvp system called 'controlled PVP' whereas it is Full PVP however there is a Justice system / consequences in place. I think it might find that perfect balance for people. It should be really close to real life where people PK only if there is a strong motivator to risk local law enforcement. PKers can even be put in Jail. ya I know I'll be there a lot shuffling rocks oh well

The PvP system works like this - normal duels (not necessarily to death, can be till first blood), Organisational PvP - mafia orders someone killed and you do a quest killing him Now WHY did mafia order him killed is a totally different question (players can be behind that aswell) , free pvp - maniac killer type - those will be cought by npc and player police and a horde of bounty hunters and vendetta seekers (guidies of the killed fella) and sent off to shuffle rocks for a long time... And last but not least -large scale pvp - serving the army - taking part in military campaigns at the borderlands... That will be tactical global PvP... (there ar two great countries at war with each other in the basis of the lore) Hope that explains it

That was cool, the backstory of the world in the video blog was kinda cool also, seems like they're gonna be expanding to the moons as well later. Anyways, the armorsets remind me alot of the Tumorok in Asherons Call 2, they were digidigrade also. Wonder if this company did any work on AC2. Anyone know? The environments look nice too, looks like they took alot of tips from Oblivion (no problem with that at all).

And apparently you can join a brothel as well. Is that such a good idea for a family friendly MMORPG? What age group are they aiming at?
I'm also sceptical to these pre-designed organisations. I hope they will have player run guilds too.

yes, it has PVP with penalties for people who abuse the system (at least thats the way i read it)
