Well we have all rights to speculate and indeed the dates havebeen moved once already (from november-december 2007 to early 2008) But 2010 sounds kinda too much
It is true thgey don't want to release an unfinished game like Vanguard but They have quite a few people working hard on the game and those p[eople are mostl;y pros that have quite a bit of experience. They have enough money to last them a long time and apart from that let us simply Hope
A cool game indeed - original ideas, nice graphics freedom of choice, all that a player needs. I will certainly be looking forward to it.
Btw.
I just looked at the fan forum and they post that the DEVs have agreed to make an exclusive interview for the budding international community of WELL online. You can all come in, register and post your questions there. Then the forum members will vote and select the most vital questions aboutthe game and the project that the dEVs will answer. This interview will be also posted on the main forum.

That is really cool to hear that the developers want to hear the international opinion
hopefully no one gives them any reason to change there current design.....
Cool. Read about this when it was introduced to us in another forum. I posted some front page info on my site in order to generate some traffic and interest. It's the least I could do for your work. Thanks!

Not at all too much. Look, based on their website and news, they barely have any renders, they just so concept art. And look at almost every MMO. "Release date 2002"...Few months later..."Pushed Release date til 2003. Its almost 2008. You really think they'll have that MMO finished by the end of 2008?

Thanks a lot mate The effort is greatly appreciated.
To Yupeizuan: Yep their Technic is just as good as Korean at least It's all about the money basicly since the dev team is located in Moscow - the heart of Russian IT. And the preliminary budget was 1,9 million Eu without the additional investments (that have not been disclosed as of yet)
I just joined up on the fansite this morning (AesSedai), I look forward to watching the game grow as well as the community following.

Great Post, and this game (from the website) looks like it has some really great elements... not to mention it looks good. The thing I noticed is how well the site and information is written. Much better than most native english games companies. If the attention to detail in game is as supurb as the writing on the website then we may be looking at one heck of a game.
Yep the team is pretty large but as it always is with IT business in Russia not all of the work is done "In house" there's also a lot of outsource. These guys are cooperating with quite a few independant concept artists (like this one for exanple) and design studious in Russia and also a rather well-known Massive Black Studios from overseas...
Another nice addition to the team is the Artificial Studios, the guys who have supplied the heart of the game - "Reality engine"
Interactive data Visualisation have supplied their excellent "speed tree" product - a software that allows to grow and cutomise very realistic and versatile flora.
And last but not least Ageia has supplied the PhysicX - their fine physics system - a thing that makes the game as realistic as possible.
Hope this gives you some more info as to what people and teams are involved in the project.
Not sure bout droppping stuff on the ground, but the fullest FaQ will soon be released on the main forum (where the english section is going to come out literally in the next couple of days
I wonder what it would take to get mmorpg to follow this game? Does it have to be requested by the publisher or could the budding community request it? It does not have the look or feel of vaporware and could be the possible "kick-in-the-butt" the MMO industry needs.

as far as i know i think it is required for the developers to request to be on there
In fact certain steps have already been taken in that direction
I have contacted the devs, got their permission (on behalf of international part of well-online community) and then filed a request with MMORPG com. That request has been received and answered (positively) by Jon Wood - their chief editor. He gave me a form to fill and the needed media for the new section. All that has been turned in to the WELL online pR department. Now as soon as they fill out the form and gimme all the necessary stuff I hand it over to Jon Wood and voila
It should not tak ethem more than a couple of days, though I myself am now on a business trip to far away Kazakhstan
Will be back home wednesday night and sort all this out
Wow, this game really looks different than most other games. Its like they are taking nearly every aspect of the current MMO genre and reworking it to create a completely unique game. Looks awesome, a game to deffinately keep an eye on!

I dont.
I think this game must be developed by russian.
I my mind, russian is very xd in computer staff actually. They made Kaspersky and have 0day.
How about their techic to make game?
We are use to US KR and CN games now. Game from RU must bring something new to us.

atys, you know if you can actually drop items on the ground and stuff in this game? I love it when that is an option

Any independent developer is better than a hundred developers under publishers, I say kudos to them for at least wanting to do something different.
Quoting people doesn't make you clever, in fact, it makes you all the more stupid for not bothering to read the quotes you post in the first place.
i read the developer interview and i guess they have a fairly large team working on the game
i believe they were talking about a certain section of the development had 50+ people, i have no idea on the total number
and again this is all from memory and a quick glance
