What does that mean? Showing smiling developers with "selling" footage to convince us (Vanguard, G&H) or bragging about every little feature they have in the game.
I think the DF devs act very professionale, they know they dont owe us anything. They are not trying to satisfy us with BS just so the community will stay.
We stay and wait because we know the game will be interesting/fun/amazing to play.

This game is now 1 year supposedly from release, they have not even proved their servers work, that they have even half the features, they still haven't shown any ounce of proffestionalism, they still haven't had a proffestional review site look at their game, they havent even turned up at the biggest gaming convention of the year, you know like every company does even a crappy mmocardgame that is free turned up at the last liezpig convention and they were from norway or something ffs.
And turning up with a piece of paper with a list of your features isn't worth noting, they are 1 year from release, they are supposedly near beta so why is it they have a combined what 5 mins of in game footage that looks like it was taken in alpa?
And their saving move is meant to be a fan of their game doing a impression of single player build lol

You are assuming a lot and while you have the right to an opinion, please don't try to sell it as the truth. The only truth here is that nobody but the devs and those that have singed the NDA knows. Please, if you want someone to lie to you, go somewhere else. If you actually tried to look through the forums here and elsewhere you might glean some facts out of the BS that is told (on both sides to be sure). But let me state this for the record, I don't care if Df is v-W or not. I support this game as it is the only fantasy sandbox, skillbased game out there wich is actually remotly close to becoming real. If it is not, fine I support the next, and the next and the next until a game of this type is finished. We've seen some major losers go down the tubes this year and we all should have learned that developers need to prove their claims, not just talk about them. This letter is possible proof and so it has far more value than anything claimed by a developer imo. To me, fan comments are worth more than anything in a magazine or other more official channels.
But it's still the Internet and more sources will need start repeating what was said in this single letter. *IF* that starts to happen then I'll begin to be convinced Darkfall isn't some form of scam. This is a first step. There will need to be more.
