By PR I meant all the distance you've been trying to put between yourself and soe, like your press release that announced your association with soe.  I understand your decision to go with soe, and really, its not that big of a deal for me because theres lots of games out there for me to play.  Just don't dismiss those with legitimate complaints with how soe has done business with them as "Haters".  Behind all the rhetoric, theres real substance to whats being said.  I don't expect you to say anything negative towards soe, even though they blatantly pulled the old bait and switch with their customers.  When you deal with people with shady business practices then expect take some heat for it.  Soe will never get another dollar from me, and even if your game can cure cancer and make peace in the middle east, I still hope it fails or (preferably) you switch publishers.

BTW, theres a lot more people that you think that will avoid your game because of soe.  Keep telling yourself its less than 5000 if it makes you feel better.

Look I am not one to disagree with your feelings toward SOE, people know how I feel about the management...but to wish that FLS's game fails simply because they used SOE as their publisher...well that is taking it a little to far in my opinion.    Rick and them worked hard to bring us this game and now you wish it to fail even though it'll be one of he better games on the market and a different one at that!   ::boggles::

Fun how most of the rambling soe haters allways only have a few posts. Guess we have some insane people outthere creating new accounts just to spew their nonsense... Then again looking at the swg forums makes me loose all faith in humanity.

yeah all this hate because of publisher is getting kinda out of hand in my eyes, EA sucks SoE sucks i´d guess Ubisoft and Codemasters will suck soon as well. I mean it´s the people´s choice to ruin their fun for themselves honestly and if u guys continue to blame every publisher in existence you will run out of games to play rather quickly since the market for games is getting harder and small publishers have a harder time then ever before, especially if people continue to want everything perfect but for free nonetheless ;).

@Topic PotBS is a fun game to which i´m looking forward to play and ppl should learn that the Developer always has a say in what happens in the game so blaming the publisher only is just .... wrong.

And yes in my opinion Sigil Games miscalculated a lot and couldn´t afford to push the release back anymore so the desaster evolved but to put blame here at SoE´s feet is just wrong. If anything they rather safed the game for ppl that are still playing it, of course the deal wasn´t bad for SoE now i guess but still the blame should be placed more on Sigil.

Funny how someone speaks there mind about a subject that doesnt agree with em....they must be making new accounts. I've been reading this website before your introduction of 2005. Its a forum, people debate and share there thoughts. If you cant handle it I'll assume you need to not respond.

You left out the part of the sentence.  The whole thing reads "I still hope it fails or (preferably) you switch publishers."  If they went with another publisher then I would happily wish them all the luck in the world and hope their game succeeds because MMO's need a fresh perspective away from the typical fantasy stuff.  The thing is, though, I'll always hope that anything that generates revenue for soe in any way fails.  Its nothing personal against FLS's devs or fans of the game.  FLS choose to go with soe knowing what kind of baggage they bring with them.

BTW, theres no way of knowing whether or not its going to be "one of the better games on the market" until its released.

All the SoE haters flaming SOE.  Refusing to buy the game.  Warning potential players about SoE...
Then the game developers reassuring that SoE is ONLY publishing, and will NEVER have any influence on the developement of the game.   The Fanbois jumping in defending thier game.  Flame wars all over the place..
You have to admit.  Its a flashback with a different game name.   I still wonder why anyone would want to be associated with SoE at all these days.   Just having SoE attatched to the game is going to cost a company not only thier reputation to a certain degree, but also less subscribers to thier game.   SoE must have one hell of a package deal.

History just repeating itself. You think all the stuff that went down with other games.....eh nevermind. Its better to let people find out for themselves. Denial is one hell of a concept.

You know the reason Vanguard 'crashed' from it's initial 200k+ buyers was not because of SOE. It was due to the state of the game. 200k+ buyers despite of you trolls.

So what exactly is the history repeating itself and what are there to find out?

I'm so broke. I can't even pay attention.
