LOTRO took 5 years to make, not that its a bad game I really like it, but does it even have 30% of the features Darkfall wishes to have? I dont think so... P.E. has signed contracts with CBS to use the Star Trek IP. Only P.E. and the rabid fanbois at StarTrek-Online.net are without concern after the G&H shelving.
My point is, Aventurine is a no name business without a track record, with someone on the inside with deep pockets, with no history behind it except some of it's board members are the same as the company that shelved Darkfall in the past. There is more proof that DarkfallOnline is a scam or just a concept in developement to sell to a real developement ccompany than it is seriously wanting to launch their game. Funny, the fanboys insult me and put me on ignore because I'm not addicted to a game that doesn't even exist (aka not even in beta) yet. Some people really need a reality check. Mocking the post count of someone and using it as a base to judge what he posted is also quite funny, shows the superior maturity of the person. I've been following this for years now, I'm an old fart (39) and played most MMOs since the very beginning of the genre, and I have seen so many games like Darkfall, very promising, and the devs even posting very nice screenshots, only to prove either to be utter crap or to never be released. Now I wish I'm wrong, hell, I HOPE to be proved wrong, and that the game comes out and is good and polished, because this seems the closest to oldschool Ultima Online that we ever had, and if we can get that in 3D with modern technology I'll be the first to be a hardcore fan. But please, do yourself a favor, don't be a fanatic of something you didn't even give a try yet. Any MMO veteran can tell you it's only the door open to big disapointments.
Experience proves that any game is NOT vaporware once it hits the store shelves, no sooner. Well, maybe when it "Goes Gold" but most MMORPGs don't really go gold like non-MMO games do...

Then what did Asp from LoD see? He's a MMO Vet and no red flags were thrown up to him. Hell, even he thought the game was complete vapor before his visit. Since you are having problems finding the address I found it for you. Google is your friend.
