bah thats your problem if you do not wish to pay for a site to get in a beta. But know that most people using fileplanet pay for the whole deal and not just get AoC beta.

Otherwise, being that the download is 12 GB thats totally normal that they give that priority on paying subscriber/founders. That does take a lot of bandwith after all and that also explain why dev wouldn't host something like that, it's just insane (about time someone come up with a better compressed file too)

Way I see it is 7 bucks isn't nothing its alot better than paying 50 for a game you get a chance to see if your gonna like it .Should be used to it by now if you play alot of mmogs thats the way you usually get early acess to em is fileplanet anf I don't see that changing.If you can afford 50 for a game and 14.99 a month for a sub surely you can swing 7 bucks

Just curious. But how many beta's have you played and how many have encouraged you to go out and buy the game. Fileplanet subscribers is full of a community of those who just test games. I'm looking for a game to play possibly for the next few years, I don't need access to every beta.
Well, i got to play lotro beta , i liked it and i bought the game which is good and i didnt get into the beta of vanguard, bought the game which is bad. So from this poit of view its worth.
Or you could just get decent rigs and get into the closed beta's.
Don't enjoy closed betas. Too buggy, too early in game development to actually enjoy. Expected to find bugs and all that crap. Lack of any real population. They for the most part ruin the game for me.

My beef is that Funcom isn't giving CE pre-order customers a crack at Open Beta. Even EA Mythic is doing that. And, in the past, this happened with LOTRO. In fact, I ended up getting in on Closed Beta there, even before Open Beta began.

Fileplanet is great for downloads etc, the open beta invites are just a nice bonus, It's natural for people to be pissy about this.....
