When you go to launch the "patcher" you get an error right? When you go to launch the game you get a DOS looking screen with loads of errors right?
Id say id sell mine but thats fubard. i think ill try it out, i might be nice and lend who ever the account (will be a completely random password and account name) and maybe change it later, ill post back, i personally have the lowest expectations for this game, but hell why not give it a try.

I used to think like that, but life has been kind to me and I'm in a possition to buy and continually upgrade a machine to a very high standard. Low and behold I have been invited to EVERY SINGLE beta I have applied for. True this could statistically be pure luck, but its a hell of a lot of beta's and like you said thats a hell of a lot of people to beat to the key by chance.
Strangely enough for a particualr game of forums boards not a million miles from here, I actually submitted my beta application on a different pc (obviously with lower spec but still within required), the very same day I upgraded my submitted dxdiag to my main, I get the invite. Spooky
