Yeah after the free month you might see a clearer picture on who got the game from the start. I mean the leveling goes pretty fast and within those 30 days you have plenty of lvl 40+ chars by then. I wonder if its still appealing then and do we see a decline in subribers.

As I wrote somewhere else. People might need to upgrade first to see if they can handle these new next-next-gen MMO's. (after, EQ2-LOTR-D&DO).

I'm in the waiting chamber, like I did with most games, and will wait 6 months to about a year before going in myself.

You know when you play too much MMO's when your partners pants have become a rare drop.

Don't worry, they will move on to WAR, when it's closer to release.

Got to wait until one month after release to see how many who bought the game actually subscribe.

This is a somewhat false claim.

Funcom's actual claim was 400,000 active accounts (not subscribers as OP posted)

Blizzard tooted their own horn too for 1st day active accounts, 3 years ago

  • Still a long way until it reach World of Warcraft numbers...

The only game that could reach and surpass Warcraft, would be PokeMMOn.
