Yeah after the free month you might see a clearer picture on who got the game from the start. I mean the leveling goes pretty fast and within those 30 days you have plenty of lvl 40+ chars by then. I wonder if its still appealing then and do we see a decline in subribers.
As I wrote somewhere else. People might need to upgrade first to see if they can handle these new next-next-gen MMO's. (after, EQ2-LOTR-D&DO).
I'm in the waiting chamber, like I did with most games, and will wait 6 months to about a year before going in myself.

As for the negativity, it's something normal on these forums. Two months ago, the most popular game was getting the worst bashing. The haters just have a new target now. Don't worry, they will move on to WAR, when it's closer to release.
