Will definitely buy the collector's edition when it comes out. While some things are similar to WOW, I really prefer the RVR, public quests, and casual-core friendliness of WAR. At least at this time I don't feel I need to play 40 hours/week to be competitive in PVP.

I hope you know that the CE is currently sold out :
And yes, I preordered the CE after I got into beta, and haven't even thought about canceling.
WAR is like WoW only with all the cool combat taken out. There's nothing like the warrior skill charge in WAR There's nothing like the warlock spell fear in WAR There's nothing like the rogue skill distract in WAR, or stealth. You won't shield bash to interrupt a skill in WAR and so on WAR is a new game, WAR is a pvp game, it should have more combat features than a game that's four years old. There's nothing in WAR combat wise that you can't get in any free to play MMO.
So all of the bad features of WoW's PvP out the door? COUNT ME IN!
I feel sorry for idiots who assume there will be a WoW killer. Have you guys realized yet that Blizzard's games do NOT die? They sustain enormous populations even today, Diablo1&2, WC3, and SC. You have any idea why they stay populated for so long besides the b.net? Competitive play. Blizzard is doing competitive tournaments and rankings with their arenas in WoW, and therefore ongoing the process of NOT dieing. Maybe some other companies will take note that "competitive play = unending play".
Oh yeah, and South Korea are worshippers towards Blizzard.
Three close friends from "that other game" are also leaving it with me to head to WAR, they have preordered SE copies and will be there for OB and HS with me.
The game is quite amazing at this point, and is easily better than anything released since WoW, imho.

I'm keeping my pre-order after playing preview weekend. It's great that there are no long stuns. That fact makes it better than WoW PvP by an enourmous amount. Tired of the stunfest in WoW.
i played for alll the PW had lvl 15 RVR 12 magus loved it and lvl 12 rvr 11 Swordmaster LOVED IT was never bored the entire weekend infact am pissed its gone down so its a def yes from me
Out of pure curiousity, why the heck would anyone want to budge WoW's subscribers? Seriously, do we really want those leper gnomes in our MMORPGs? We should be the ones PAYING Blizzard to take care of them in their grinding cages.
Definately not. RVR is a step backwards from DAOC. Class development weak. Character customization minimal..Crafting almost non existant.Heavy mele bias.
Sooo glad I could beta test and avoid buying it.Il check back in six months.
If the completed game looks like what I saw in the Preview Weekend, then no. They still have a bit of time though and from what I've heard, the Closed Beta is a few steps ahead already. If they're fixing a couple of the bigger issues (such as mobs pathing off into God knows where, CTDs every 30 mins and PQs not scaling) then I would certainly buy it in a heartbeat.
I was lucky and had no technical issues (only one CTD in an RvR), but the mob and pet AI was absolutely horrid.
RvR was nice, albeit very chaotic and seemingly pointless, but aside from the slow paced combat I actually kinda like PvE, which is good since I can fall back on that when PvP gets tiresome, and vice-versa.
Not unless Mythic fixes the basic mechanics by launch, specifically the UI response, movement, animation and AI pathing. WAR has some good features and can be great fun to play, but it looks and feels clunky in a way that detracts from gameplay.
I will absotively posilutely be buying WAR upon retail.
Having a blast... Can't get enough of the quirky humor in this game... As someone else noted, everywhere you look, there's something else to do. And the game is running very well for me overall.
Even in Beta with all the debugging and limited graphcis settings, it's already performing better than some I've played many months after release.
To sum it up...
WAAAAAAAAAGH!!!

actually no, no I'm not.. I'm not playing any at the moment, burned out on fantasy-themed mmo's right now, and none of the other genre's appeal to me (at least the way they are presented) .. right now. Waiting on a few though..
Not at this stage no, I'll have to see what its like a few months down the track.
I find it boring and was expecting something a little more innovative from a next-gen MMO.
On a postive note I think Mythic have done well for themselves and there will be people who will enjoy this game. Its not a bad MMO just nothing special.
MAY THE FORCES OF CHAOS CRUSH THE WEAK FORCES OF ORDER!
...*cough*...Yeah, I already bought it. And had fun smashing dem humies and stomping stunties as a Chaos Chosen named Khorne Hope to slaughter all of you in game.
I have the CE preordered... played beta.. played preview weekend.. and what can I say.. Im still gettting it. I really enjoyed the Tiers... btw I got charge at lvl 10 on the Maruder I created.. it's like Sprint ability but doesnt use action pts.. great for charging in (not like an auto charge.. u still controll the toon) and killing a BW and Sprinting out.. heck I've killed 2 this way.

My CE has long been paid for, no regrets.

I'll definitely be picking it up on release and playing for a good long while.

O_o o_O
Even though I haven't played yet, I can't wait for the release.
After playing wow endgame for 2 years and quitting a year ago, I haven't touched an mmo since.
(Except Vanguard, and that was fubar.)
WAR seems like a breath of fresh air and casual friendly enough to log in, play an hour and log out without feeling like I'm letting the guild down.
So yes. I will be there September 18th.
