I would like to know how are you to have any strategy in dungeons? Are you telling me that there is no CC for dungeon groups? I am thinking of purchasing and any information on this would be appreciated thank you!
Even with people who know to interrupt my Holy spells, i can still do a psychic scream, run behind a obstacle and do a Greater Heal. Tell me, how is this retarded LoS abuse and CC skill? It doesn't look to me like that.
Yeah, there's none of that BS in real life. In real life no one hides behind an obstacle so they don't get killed, they stand out in the middle of a field and take what's coming to them like a man. And no one does any of that stupid CC BS either, like flash grenades or tear gas. And what's with all this stupid running and jumping around BS. Man it was a real war when the English all stood in 2 lines and the guys in front fired their weapon and then knelt down to reload while the guys in back fired and then they reversed positions. Those were real wars. What ever happened to those guys?
Oh yeah, they all got owned by us stupid Americans who hid behind the trees and killed them all.

There is CC abilities, they are short term abilities. Mostly tanks have them but don t worry the pve does not lack because of it.
It will be interesting to see how strategy works. AOC did horrible on pve dungeons, there is no strategy. Let's hope Warhammer has strategy. I dislike WoW but I do like their dungeons.
WoW is a great game and if you enjoy playing it you, I say just keep at it. I'm moving to WAR because it's fresh and enormously fun. Maybe it will suck 6 months later but that's not the impression I got from closed beta. It kept getting better and better.
To each their own. But to every WoW players who thought "Oh god, I have to kill another 5000 fulbolgs for rep" or have waited 3 hours for a RAID that never happened because the MT had to go to bed at the exact moment the 25th player showed up, you won't have to deal with that in WAR.
Give it a shot, you might like it! I can't confirm, but I've read that there are Open Beta codes from pre-order available at Target for $1!

As a WAR player, I have to say that, if you love raiding and dungeons, stick to WoW. Probably WAR dungeons will be inferior to WoW ones. I might be wrong, but their focus is on RvR.
For the CC thing, WAR has much more debuffs compared to WoW. There is a whole talent tree for nearly every class dedicated to debuffing. Debuffs play a major role in WAR. There are CCs of course, and every class has some sort of CC. But it's not like WoW (in a very good way), CCs are not "IWIN" buttons, they are useful but you need to use tons of other abilities to win the battle.
So a typical scenario like this would not happen. --> Fear the enemy, dot, dot, dot, run away... = win
Stunluck the enemy, backstab, snare, kill = win
The time to kill in War is much higher compared to WoW. For example if a healer and tank does 1v1, usually that battle lasts more than a minute. If 2 DPS fights, it lasts about 20 seconds minimum. In WoW, I was playing a mage. Fireball, fireball, fireblast and maybe one scorch (if still not dead) would kill the opponent easily.

Would be nice. Shame it will never happen To be honest gamers have been squabbling for as long as I remember (Spectrum v Commodore). I am sure that if you go back further you would read vicious diatribes on how green marbles are superior in every way to red marbles....

I'm not exactly sure how they will pan out, but this game will have just as many issues as the next game. Perhaps it will be 50 people crowding your guilds organized public quest which will just drain loot or do something stupid to wipe the raid. Perhaps your realm is outnumbers and you don't even get a chance to raid a city or the end game dungeons once you conquer it. I'm certain there will be classes that shine far and above the rest in PvP and others that suck in PvE. There will be far more than enough grinding in War with realm ranks, the whole point system to seige a city, etc. Same dog with fleas that has been in just about every MMO since luclin.
War looks to be fun and most importantly different style of fun. Lets see how it plays a few months after launch before claiming it has cured the 'common MMO cold' just yet.
