I registered with them 7-30-2008 and still have yet to get my validation email, I've all but given up hope of ever getting a reply from them.

Isn't it what they specifically asked people NOT to do? If everyone does that, that swamps their poorly designed system even more thus annoying everyone else - gg. I've been waiting for 15 hrs for my key now myself, *sigh*.

Mythic are aware, embarassed and Mark Jacobs seems pretty pissed off. Even broken his own rule about always defending his staff. Mind you, technically, GOA employees are not his staff.
It requires GOA to do something actionable that enables him to persuade EA to break contract. I'm guessing if this fiasco continues to roll into Early Access and us EU custmers are on the wrong end of a breach of contract (money will have changed hands so the there is a legal precendent for action) he may have grounds to do more than scream down a phone.
However that would still mean Mythic would need to find a company in Europe to distribute the game, wack up some pretty robust servers and provide a support service. There are companies set up to do this. Unfortunately EA refers to them as the competition so not much hope there. I suggest people in Europe buy vaseline or cancel their pre-orders. One or other will make the next few weeks distinctly less uncomfortable.
For Europeans, this looks like its going to be worse than Failcom's launch. This is a shame as I really was looking forward to this game and, as Mythic have shown US-side, it did not have to be this way.

So yeh, thanks to this fella I finally managed to get my beta key confirmation.
I registered it like 14 - 15 hours before I woke up this morning, found my confirmation mail still hadnt arrived, read these forums, waded through the crap, and then proceeded to fill the form out for my beta key again, and wham, 5 minutes later I was downloading the patch for the bloody game, now I can play, woo and all that business.

I actually did not have a single issue with funcom for AoC and i was in early play. This is by far worse.
I filled the activation form in at 04:15 CET and am STILL waiting for the form.
Anyways, screw GOA - got a key from eBay for the US servers and got registered in 3 minutes - and I mean literally in 3 minutes.
What a total screw up and I will NEVER give GOA my money now - I've cancelled my EU pre-orders and have ordered a physcal copy to be delivered to a friends house in the US - he will email me the keys.
I'm patching right now. Thank god it only takes 10 minutes. Anyway, I share your frustration. GOA and there "delayed" validation process really suck ...
Might as well try the spamming technique, gonna do it when I get home today. Their "authentication method" is fubared anyway so nothing you do can break it further anyway .
Yesterday I had message that my code registration failed. This morning I spammed it a bit. When I get back from school I didn't have any e-mail. Anyway I tried to login into patcher.... and it worked! I'am patching my game now and It's so fast!

To all who have waited for long time, this helped me, and i got the key after an hour.
fill the key in again and send it, i sendt them my key 3 times, and got it
think i was moaning about the wrong email at first:D tryed the spam technique, lets see how that goes

Spamming as in filling out the form tons of times?
Surely thats going to slow down their servers even more for processing more requests.

Nearlly 2 days managed mine b4 the sire wnet borked but still no confirmation.
Finnaly, i spammed the key a hour ago and now i didnt got a email yet but i can start patching.
/sigh that took awhile 28 hours or something.
