I resubbed only till something else comes out maybe Darkfall or spellborn sad that I would take one of those over War.  Was a blast in beta but now its not the same.

Tor Anrac and knockhammer killed my interest!

I loved the tier 1 and tier 2 scenarios, but after that it went downhill

I have not resubbed, ran out a couple of days ago. This game has potential but I am not going to pay for the beta whilst they patch the game to that potential. Theres other mmos comming out soon that hopefully will be what they actually say they are. If they are not, then I might check back and see how this one is doing.

  • JpizzleJpizzle Member Posts: 371

resubbed. I love the game. I don't see myself playing anything else uneil SWOR comes out.

  • Z3R01Z3R01 Member UncommonPosts: 2,426

LOL you guys actually let the frustration of one scenario and one knockback ability upset you that much that you gave up WAR?

I'm sorry but thats some sad shit, Order gets rolled 80-90% of the time in tier 1-2 you guys finally start to get owned and you leave the game??

What a bunch of pussies I hope you guys stay away from the game for good being destro myself I wouldn't want to have you guys in my Warband.

    Totally true about T3.

I just played from level 22 to 30, tried to do PQ's, not one. I tried to do RVR, never saw one stinking Destruction, no, NOT ONE. And Tor Anroc pops 14 out of every 15 times, so ya, I did nothing but Tor Anroc for 8 stinking levels too.

Now I didn't renew, but I actually loved Warhammer for the first 2 tiers for 2 different characters. Okay, and Mythic seems to be willing to work on all of our concerns and issues. So maybe I will give them a few weeks or so, and maybe when I renew there will be enough people around for T3 or soon to enter T4 will be fun like T1 and T2 was.

Anyways, I got Mass Effect for PC to play, and Fallout 3 for PS3 soon to play while I wait and decide, but I truthfully don't want to give totally up on Warhammer just yet, but for now /cancelled.

I've found there are some zones that are just way more interesting than others. For me the Chaos starting area is the best.

Oh and I resubbed as well

They should have known better.  When BGs started in WoW it killed open world pvp... same here except they did it from the start.  It's too much to split a server limited population between tiered scenarios, pve, PQs, and open rvr.

WoW never had open world pvp, im sorry.  maybe when it first launched for a few months earlier..but that quickly stopped when people noticed that you could never take over a town, just grief kill lowbies.

Yes, I re-subscribed. However I am looking forward to Aion's release. I think WAR is a great game, but it is missing something. Not sure what.

I played for the month.  I have a 60 day game card but I'm saving it until a few things change.  If those things dont change I'm not sure yet what I'll do.

And before you say it... NO, you cant have my stuff!!!!!

One week of open beta and 2 weeks after was enough for me. The faction imbalance is too much of an issues concisering the game is designed around pvp. I still would say it is a decent game for those who like the RVR grind.

The game was a lot of fun until you get to T3, then you get bored to tears as the game gets old fast...

Well, a MMO at launch is always a bumpy ride, wait 6 months and I'm sure almost everything is straighted out. And i worst case you can always sell it but my bet is that Mythic fixed the game up by then.

I’ve been playing since release and play a few times a week, having a blast, as are the vast majority of my friends, but we all came to WAR expecting the game to be in a state of just being released...that includes having the good things about discovering a world without having a web page open with all the info you require to get to 70 on it. and on the flip side it means the game is a lot less polished it will be in a few more months.

I don’t see anything fundamentally broken with the game and from the patches they have produced it appears they do listen to feed back, that’s something I've rarely seen in the years of mmo playing!
So if you have burnt out or decided that X game that’s going to be released will be the best thing since sliced bread, well good luck and happy game leaping, one day you might find your utopian vision.

I’ll stick with the game, heck i stuck with eq2 for 4 years and it was in a shocking state most of its life :D

Ah, come on, everybody just don't get stuck in the same game. Some of the games I tried is well and nice for the free month, others doesn't fit me at all while a few ones takes 6 months to a few years before I feel done with them.

Doesn't mean the games I don't really stay long with sucks, they just don't make me play them for a really long time, taste differs.

Sure, quite a few people do imagine that the next hyped game will be the best ever and imagine that it will fit them perfectly and have no buggs at all but most of us are hopefully a bit more realistic.

Other people doesn't always share youre taste in stuff, that is why quite a few people just play a game for the free month, not that WAR is a bad game. Others realise that they game will be more to their liking later, when more contents, fixes and balancing is done and will return in 6-12 months.

I was really meaning the forums in general, either mmo's have not been any good over the last years since WoW (that is possible) or people are just looking for the magic pill that makes the game perfect on release...

and yeah there are good reasons not to play a game, if you dont find it fun then cool but when people post on forums about how broken x or y is of every game I start to wonder about the caffeine levels :D

if every game is broken then doesnt that mean no game is broken

Ya, thats what I was thinking too.

When is it, Dec, the miracle patch is coming out?  Might start back then.  I've pre-ordered Fallout so I'll have something to do meantime. May get Red Alert too...  I will get it as a Xmas present to myself esp if WAR bombs.  Prob be bored with Fallout by then.

I felt exactly the same way, and also just resubbed back to EQ2 to give it another try.

Some people are posting that WAR is "amazing". Best game ever!

While I understand that it's a matter of taste somewhat, I just don't see what is so amazing about it?

This game can be fun for the short run, but in my opinion, most people will eventually get bored. There's just not a lot of "meat" to this game. Sure it can be incredibly fun, but what will hold your interest in months to come?

Real problem here is the game was designed for small children. It's just TOO darn easy to play. No thinking is required.

I think this is a pretty much good indication. 40% quiting after the first month. *outch*

Wonder what GOA is going to do next week when the first 30 days run out here in EU.

We got around 10 empty servers already. And it seems it's going to be some more next week.

I think they will have to start merging server or even more people will quit.

I cancel...im bored. lvl28 RP & lvl34 BW. Something is really missing, items are boring, crafting is a joke, only pots and talisman crafting....zzzzzz. All i did were scenarios and grinding for elite reward in PQ's. I did not have a single  adrenalin rush while playing...i do need some kind of fear of dying/losing something when i pvp. It was too simple and too casual for me...sry to say

I subed last night so i could start my new month today.

I recieved my confirmation email that my account was extended untill November today.  So i then proceed to log in only to find that i get a 'timed out' error on my server.

So on my first day as a sub i have not been able to play   .

  • Nope, as is Wow has already stated in one way or another that everything in War that we like there putting it in WoW, and I'm sorry no matter how much i tried after 2 months, I don't think War has nothing on Wow, Esp with WOTLK coming out and there gonna have everything War has + everything else that makes Wow...Wow, + freaking everyone has already started going back , man not even a Wow clone can beat the king, this crap is crazy.

  • CryptorCryptor Member UncommonPosts: 523

I cancelled WoW just before I got into beta of WAR.  I love this game and allready paid for a sub.  Will be definetly staying for a oong time with this one.  This is by far the best game on te market right now and considering how fast Mythic patches it I ony see it getting much better.

I did resub, but a friend I met in WAR talked me into going to WoW. I never really liked WoW for many reasons, but I'm actually enjoying the game now. I feel that WoW has more soul and it's the little things WoW has that makes the game more fun than WAR. I do believe WAR is a fun game and I was only able to be talked over to WoW, because I was fustrated with WAR on a daily basis. I've been fustrated mkaybe once this week so far with WoW, and that's because of a bug they have with a talent tree. Plus the Holloween event they have is awesome. They have the headless horseman running around, and just yesterday zombies running around spreading the undead plague, making people turn undead, which flagged everyone that was friendly as enemies and attackable.

MMORPG's w/ Max level characters: DAoC, SWG, & WoW

    Currently Playing: WAR
Preferred Playstyle: Roleplay/adventurous, in a sandbox game.

I tend to agree with this statement.

Frankly there are a lot of zombies in Senario's -- unclothed ones as well.
