You're are pointing to these posts, all based around opinions, as ways to discredit me or make me look bad? I hope you take a long, hard look at how right now you're displaying yourself as a stalker. Furthermore, each of those posts are off-topic and your attempt at making me look bad is actually very much against the rules on these forums.
So, I'm flattered you want to stalk me however I think we should stay on topic and that topyic isn't LoTRO, AoC or RMTs.

Your post history is open to anyone here and can be ( and is quite often ) used to show a particular pattern.
Using a persons post history against them is not against the RoC, regardless of how "bad" it makes you look. If your so concerned about being "stalked" ( how utterly frackin' ridiculous an idea ), then don't post and noone can see what you've said in the past.
Edit: By the way, keep making posts about being "stalked". I need more humor in my daily diet.

I'm not sure. I think you have disagreed with me in this topic however I think you might have found out, though may not realize fully, at what level people are trying to stoop to to try and discredit me. They, without realizing it, are starting to set themselves up for things that open themselves up to major scrutiny.

Never said there was a pattern to yours. In fact, I haven't even looked at the links, as your posting history doesn't really interest me at this point in time. What I stated was to merely give one reason why post history is brought up at times, and how much of a joke calling someone a "stalker" just because they bring up your own words, which are available for anyone here to see without clandestine effort, against you is.
Using the word hater in the title strictly labels you as another troll trying to stir up everyone. Please crawl back under your bridge and leave us alone.
As to Darkfall, it will release when Aventurine is ready, in what state we won't know until it is out. Discussing anything further is strictly conjecture.

At this point its not Fan vs Hater.
It is hater vs his own fail. Over the years the hater has grown a blind hate onto Darkfall and it added to his ego that the game never come to fruition. He was used to his "haha vaporware" , he was used to come here laugh at Darkfall and make his cynic little comments make him happy..
Now with last year his world start to fall in ruins..he can't troll the board with vapor comments anymore because all start laughing at him ..the cynic critic don't like to be that looser and be laughed at like he did for years ..so he has to fallback and start to find something to attack in this game ..because he invested years in hating something as vapor turned out he was wrong ...
So the game this ..the game that and all the crap just to not be the looser who thought the game is vapor and never come out .
Dear hater don't waste your time ..do something meaningful to you and find you another interesting thing to follow..in the end you will ask yourself why you have invested so much hating here in this place and will have nothing in return ..
Darkfall rocks already for me according to the leaked videos i saw ..and the vast majority of those who actually played it like it..there is nothing left for you haters except the feeling of fail , emptyness and be loosers ..lol

I never bragged about "hating" or being a hater, I merely stated that I was familiar with one particular debating tactic as I do indeed use it myself at times. Nice spin attempt, try again.

well we still don't know how many of the supposed features are vapor yet. or rather unfinished and possibly far from finished.
so really darth, you just encourage the hate when you make it sound like you know its all gonna go down as planned. you just made probably 5-10more predictable haters all the sudden decide to come out of silence to smack talk you.
personally i don't care if they don't do anything more to the game other than turning on the rest of their mobs.
i don't care if there is no, or never will be any ships, or crafting or MOST of the features that haven't been proven.
but people will have every right to hate darkfall/aventurine AFTER RELEASE if they don't have those things

I would love to know the point of this thread. There will be always people worshipping a game/console or hating them on the boards, and there's not much we can do about the e-peen flexing "my game is better than urs", "this game suxxorz u all fail lulz" (not that I think everyone goes by this mindset, but there are quite some using games to feel superior...) besides reporting the ones breaking the forum rules, and ignoring the ones we dislike as bumping them only serves to generate more undesirable content.
You are welcome to determine where in my response I did not use reason... however, I do not hate the game so you have an out even thougyh I completely disagree with the OP.

- Showing any criticism or doubt of DF, Tasos or Aventurine - however well supported by *actual, undeniable events that really happened* - automatically makes you a "hater" or "troll". Even if you say you *are* interested in playing and *do* want it to succeed, say one critical word, and it's all over.. You are a "hater" and "troll" who wants the game to fail, and/or any of a list of other baseless conclusions the usual suspects will extrapolate from it. You're probably a "WoW carebear", too... for example.
- The only thing that qualifies as "reason" or "fact" is to blatantly spin things absurdly out of context.
For example...
Argument: "Tasos said back in 2003 that the game was soon to go into Beta. It's now 2009, and the game still isn't out"
Response: "Go away troll. All games have delays".
(the utter and complete intellectual dishonesty of that retort never ceases to amaze me)

Prior to Jan 22nd: "Tasos has said the game will release on Jan 22nd, so all you trolls and haters saying it won't be ready in time will eat your words! See you in game!"
Post Jan 22nd, after the game was delayed: "All you trolls and haters just wanted the game to release before it was ready so it would fail!"
The classic "trying to have it both ways" scenario; many love to use this one as well.

And the examples go on and on... and it's not only you being regarded as a "troll" or "hater" for using plain common-sense. Anyone who points out what Tasos and co. actually *have* said... and actually *have* or *have not* done are considered "trolls" and "haters"... for having the *audacity* to not see everything through Tasos-colored glasses.

What is really interesting that in most of the posts/threads I've read, I've yet to determine who is a fanboi, and who is the hater, but I still see a lot of flaming going on back and forth. All I can give is myself as an example of a fence-sitting skeptic who will wait to play the game before passing any judgement. Does that make me a fanboi, hater, troll... to be honest I am a bit lost in all the tendency of most posters labelizing someone with an opinion either a troll/hater or fanboi. To me it seem both hater and fanboi seem like the same type of person albeit on the flip side of the same coin. Where does that leave middle of the road, "wait-and-see-proof" skeptics? O.o

I really wonder when you guys think this whole deal with fanboys and haters ever gets old. Seriously, what the hell is some of you here's problems? There is neither a reason to defend OR flame this ... game? Yet, since it's not released, and nobody has spent any cash on it yet! Well some which are stupid and bought pre-orders, but that's another story.
This forum war is starting to bore me out now. But like I said, I'm just amazed at how some of the users here can go on and on and on. And on.

I don't post here but i'll respond to this, the simple answer id that it'll never get old...not until the game either is released and implodes on itself or is released and is amazing...then it'll die down.
This type of 'fan vs. critic' has been going on since the days of Atari vs. Commodore, it never changes, the arguments are always the same and in the end all that's left is people who instead of having logical, informed discussions and respecting eachother as fellow gamers will instead get into petty squabbling matches because they don't think the same way.
This is to the very first post..
That dialogue was very poor, you need better conflict. When someone argues there are a lot of subtle emotions, even if it seems they're both stubborn. Your character's both argued the same exact way and were very flat and secondary. If you want to captivate interest in a post by using dialogue, then realize you have to actually write it like a writer. Example:
" Darkfall is my existence, my foundation for life! " cried the Fanboy
"It's dissolving like the mist, your game. What will happen when your hopes fade to black?" proded the Hater
"The shambles of my life will be too cluttered to clean, the only resolution would be suicide, I'm afraid." Uttered the Fanboy at disgust in himself.
"Well, then," said the Hater, feeling awkward " For your sake I hope your suicide methods will be as poorly planned as the PR for Adventurtine."
See what I mean?

Perhaps this is a bit cynical of me in that I was starting to get the feeling that he was really just the OP tyring to bump his thread with an alt, he bascially restated what the OP did in just a slightly different, stylized form of writing. Hmmm one begings to wonder.

Fair enough, I was a bit harsh but really ..... "respectful" and "professional"? Making a blatant allegation with no basis of fact or even logic and for no other reason than you disagree or for some other petty problem? Thats not respectful or professional.
I was just being a jerk, unfortunately :. In all honesty, I was really trying to help him improve his writing and to just get his point across. But as for me being the poster, if you look at my previous posts you will see I'm not him. Especially in my style of writing, also I'm an alt to Astriir.
