If they sorted out the ground textures this game would look pretty damn good in the air. I know they changed the ground textures last year but they seriously need changing again especially at height they look plain bad in my view.

Getting Started, the first hotlink then is Free Trials and Promos and the first promo is a 14 day freebie. Started playing this game already . I am a German Grenadier atm and will start posting screenshots soon. What I really liked was parachute missions and night time as they are really realistic. At first it was hard to even get a kill and I started to think how these people had such good eye sights to see so damn far away but after a while you get use to picking out enemies in bushes because you can see them when they shoot and all that. The game however could be better if vehicles were easier to drive/pilot using keyboard instead of joystick as tanks are very hard to drive without a crew using keyboard and piloting is literally impossible without a joystick. Other than the graphics needing some work on it, the game is one of the best war games and is very addictive.
Goggle Sgtspoon. He has profiles for using the mouse kb. You should spend 20 dollars for a simple 4 button 1 hat JS or more for a higher quality stick. Makes the sim totally enjoyable. Welcome aboard.

I'm getting the feever here! I quit a few years back after major burnout..GHC, Closed Beta tester and officer in the 31'st Wrecking Crew burned me out...
And now I'm sitting here wanting to get in again....But I vowed when I left, not to return until we either had the S-Boot or could bail out of our panzer....
Someone please tell me that we have or can..plzzz?!
you still cant jump out of tanks and granades still explode on impact. they are working on that right now. other than that the game has become really good (it has always been good but now its even better).
Here's one taken a few weeks ago. Several of us took Hurricane mk2's up on a dive bombing mission to bomb the german factorys. Here is the climbout, were at a maximum climb rate getting through 10,000 ft.
Here is the group diving from 14,000 ft (our cruising altitude) to drop on one of the german factories.
After we dropped both 500 pound bombs we pulled up right into a few 109s guarding the area. We lost one, and the other 2 dove away before any of us could get on their 6. Since they dove away, I though it best for the whole squad to return to base intact.

So CRS is changing the atmosphere of the game. It's going to have (i think) morning fog and the clouds will look something like this...

Here are some high lights from the allied Campaign 31's bombing runs that I oraganized.
So far I've ran 34 bombing runs straight across enemy territory.
Sometimes we miss target but most of the time we hit. The main goal is to have fun with bombers.
