nobody i know of plans on playing or trying it, even some of the bored of WoW ones. I went out of my way to recommend this game to them they still weren't sold, so nobody can tell me i didn't try to send people to play here lol.
So nope, all my guild, friends, everyone i know is staying on WoW. Its good to see people happy about another game though, especially with all the ones that didn't turn out the way people had hoped.

After the OP, meet the second most reknown Wow hater on our WOW forums.
Get over it: 12 servers on each continent.
The game already stumbled from its WOW beating statue in open Beta when number of players are concerned.
And posting OP's like this on the 250 people on mmorpg.com won't help a cent.
You can try the official WOW forums to seek help, they need trolls there because 99% of the WOW players don't even know the thing.
I sometimes think why you have to gank the most succesful mmorpg to be satisfied and have fun in ... another game.
Again Zorn, I hate to this but I have to call you out for lack of professionalism. I agree to call people out on the wow forums if they troll. The problem is you come here and do the same exact thing by calling the game a korean copycat. Stop with the pathetic comments.
I think one person in our guild mentioned getting into the beta at one point, but we all just made fun of him and that was the only time i've heard someone mention aion.
None . In fact I believe im the only member in my raiding guild who has ever even heard of Aion .Tried bringing up discussion about it once and got /loled at.
Originally posted by abyss610 i don't know if i'd come to this site for advice, sooo many trolls for every game that comes out. for me the best place is to check out videos on youtube, if you like what you see give it a try. there are alot of games i seen completely trashed on this site by its mob mentality that i just said screw it and tried them for myself and enjoyed.
Ya, I should know better . . it is just that I do not have unlimited time. and I feel well thought out opinions are useful. I have read the official line and reviews and have played till the mid teens. . . and did not see anything new or really interesting (being objective). I really hate fanboys since they live in a world of "OMG is it wonderful" or "It Suckors". Since I have been playing games longer then most here have been alive, have beta tested 100s of games (often by direct request of developers I know), and that my day job IS hardware/software QA and some development . . . I have a interesting view of most games, both game style/ fun level and technical. . . . and I always find having a real conversation on a forum hard . . sometimes these tards get under my skin on a bad day
I just got into the game (launch was poor) and will play out my free time and see how it goes . .though it will really need to change to keep any interest up. . .
