I think thats what the majority of the people are starting to do now. The people saying SUPPORT starvault by any means necessary. I have seen many people post (the posts got deleted fast) that said we should donate via paypal, buy many copies and pay the monthly fee even if they dont play it. That type of stuff is crazy... i dont know if its trolling or if the fans really think like that, but hearing stuff like that makes me go bonkers...
I had to vote 1 becouse i installed game 10min ingame and uninstalled it what crap and grafics from 10years ago no thx.
Games played:AC1-Darktide'99-2000-AC2-Darktide/dawnsong2003-2005,Lineage2-2005-2006 and now Darkfall-2009.....
In between WoW few months AoC few months and some f2p also all very short few weeks.
Voted 4, the game has potential however it's going to crash and burn a few months after release simply because no one is going to pay a monthly subscription for this game that has 'potential' and otherwise is a flaming piece of shit.
I have to agree, but I am not watching with a sense of being sadistic, but more along the lines of having to watch a train wreck.
There's a part of me as a professional in the software development industry that makes me upset about what SV is doing -- which is why I called attention to the definition of "beta" many, many months ago on MO's own forums. I think the more customers willing to accept garbage like this as a "game", the more companies that will line up to do keep doing it, flooding the market with half baked Unreal3 mods (like MO) and promising the world.
Hopefully gamers will be more discerning with their money, and as a result we'll get more quality titles back. If we are not discerning, then we will keep getting crap like MO. So if I can convince one or two people to take a stand, then I find that as a positive, regardless of what the fanboys of MO think.

I think sadistic is too strong of a word to use for that, as i have no emotional beef with SV, and i don't enjoy watching the dev's suffer. Thing is the negative critique is contributing to the potential unemployment of 20 developers, which is why i chose to say sadistic, and i do enjoy bashing the game. I suppose its my right as a paying customer :P
I haven't voted, I spent enough time in beta to know that that game shouldn't got passed the closed beta.
Vote on what you think it is currently. If you don't think it should have gotten past closed beta, vote using that thought.

No one that plays DF should bash another game ever..
More than 70% of those that voted gave it a score of between 1-5 out of 10. I think that speaks volumes and is incredibly generous. The game and the company are full of incompetence, this game is years from being playable.
It is in some bad shape, but that doesn't mean the game doesn't have a future. There is plenty of room for it to grow and improve over the years.
I hate having to run to a priest after death and run back to get my stuff. Very annoying! I also got killed by somebody walking by that just finished me off so quick that I couldn't say "guards" to get help in time and they took my stuff and I had to run to a priest way off in the far distance; that is because they have a broken priest in the town!! so you have to run to one way out in the middle of nowhere to rez.
It seems to me that the game is just missing a lot of features right now, maybe they will add it at the last moment when the games performance is tuned on the server side and the database is tweaked.
After all of the problems it has, there will still be a crowd that plays it because it unique. It looks like most of the game is going to be pvp and there is a lot of land to build houses for fortifying your territory. After time passes by it will be numerous houses in the field that peopel have built and war breaking out around them. I could be wrong, but it seems that could be the way it gets.

Darkfall hasn't failed considering it is still going and picking up speed now maybe cause you were bad at it and quit you curse it but Darkfall is picking up. Lets hope MO can also.
Darkfall might get more subs because the way MO is going right now.

lol, sure call me bad just because I don't like the game and you do. You are so intelligent, wow!. I played darkfall from closed beta to open beta and release for the first 3 months. The game isn't as bad as mortal online but it is pretty bad to my standards. I will give credit though for darkfall, the pvp was fun but the controls were the worst I have ever seen in a mmorpg since the last seventeen years of playing mmorpgs, same goes for mortal online and first person isn't going to work for a MMORPG. It's not a damn shooter game, they need to stop making it all first person, its really annoying as hell.

Allods is free to play and you dont have to pay $55 usd to participate in its beta like you have to in MO's

i went to the site and all i saw was pre buy the digital dl for what was the equivalent to 55 usd to access the beta so if what your saying is true post me a link to it because it wasnt on star vaults site as being a free dl not that i saw anyways

You make an account, dont actually buy it. When its activated you just download the game and login. No purchase necessary.
