Even as it gets pushed out earlier than expect, there's always still time to grow, just like DF did.
Earlier than expected? It was announced as a Summer 2009 release....
Also.. why should a customer care how long the game took? I don't care if it's 3 months, a year or a decade... I just want a finished product. Will the company accept different amounts of payment from the players based on how long we have been working or how much we make?

It is interesting, does the amount of time spent developing a game indicate how good a game it is? I am thinking of Tabula Rasa, and thinking ... no.

I say yes, if it is not finished and is released it will end up worse than Tabula Rasa...
Smashed boxes in the shipping companies fault, that's stupid to even complain about that, take it up with the post office or UPS, whoever you got it from.
I have no thoughts either way on this game, but this just goes to show that developers are better off just to keep their product a secret until it's ready for market. I know there are financial pressures for them to pre-release info and do early beta's to build-up their customer-base before release, but often it seems to have the opposite result.
OMG this is priceless. The art book is just as empty as the game world! Oh I guess the blank pages are for you to draw your own art but don't worry, you'd probably do better than the dumb artists. LOL
Why do you players keep encouraging this trash and these talentless, money-grubbing assholes? Stop the insanity. Stop spending. And start dishing out some well-deserved ridicule. Please!

The fans like what the developers say and start supporting them, even if none of it is implemented and is only on paper.

Well I'd think after being burned about 14 times people would start learning where not to stick it.
