And whats this?.. someone kill you at a station?.. it seems you've confused an NPC for a real player.. *even more facepalming*
If this guy does join a corp, he is just going to be abused. I think its time to put the game down, its clearly not for him.
ok i so so have to comment on your comment, because from what i can tell your a little out of touch too, or you simply didnt read the article.. you can indeed be killed outside a station in npc space by a player. in his post he clearly mentions how he took the contents of some ones ore can from an asteroid belt, this in its self is a big no no in empire space and grants an instance 15 minute penalty at which point the offended player can hunt him down and shoot him with out concord intervention perfectly legally. takeing contents from something you havnt put in space is referred to by ingame mechanics as theft and against concord law.
you can be shot at if you have taken part in these activities, carebears call it piracy. none carebears call it trying to get by in a galaxy full of terror, and mercs call it opportunity. concord call it illegal.
i have a strange feeling that you my friend are fairly new too eve too.
things you can pick up a 15 minute be killed timer for in empire are.
1/ takeing from other peoples cans in space
2/ shooting anyone that isnt in your player owned corp
3/ takeing from other plaeyrs wrecks in space.
and heres a few things that work in your favour.
/1 you can loot the wreck of a dead player killed by npc ratts without penalty
/2 you can salavage the wrecks of other players kills without penalty
to survive in empire with out much fear but can be a little dull.
1/ simply do not flip cans/steal other peopls things
2/ do not touch anything floating in space thats yellow
3/ do not shoot at any player that you do not have killrights for. unless hes a pirate and flashing red, he must be flashing red. if you kill the pirate make sure you kill the pod too, this gives a nice reward if he has a bounty.
