Got confirmation today that Game.co.uk has posted my copy so should be here for Tuesday.. I also booked the day off work for good measure. Monday after work I'll go get my supplies, cheetos, pepsi, pizza and haribo. Tuesday I sit at my mail box questioning every post man I see as to the wearabouts of my SC2 DVD... the phone goes off, the misses leaves the flat wether she want to or not and I will sit in a darkend room eating crap playing the best game to be released this year.
I'm getting it, the singleplayer alone will be worth it, not to mention the custom games.

Yeah I am going to be playing due to the lack of any MMO's striking my interest atm. Was satisfied with VG for a while, but I can't go on anymore.
D3 is my next game that has me stoked though.
They already took my money for it. However, all I care about is the multiplayer.

I wont. After WoW I kinda lost my confidence in Blizzard. They simply aren't innovative and only want to make money.

I won't be buying it. Never ever played SC.
Although, I wouldn't mind seeing all the ingame movies. Those blizzard ingame movies are still pretty top notch.
ya same here only for the multiplayer i cant play single player games, bores me to death.
SC1 was not my thing so im not getting SC2.
Basically im just waiting for GW2 and im killing time with some old singleplayer games and only play MMOs casual.
Im going to get it... the only thing im concerned about with the game is the UMS games... i hope people dont just start making bad games then putting a $5 dollar price tag on it... I can't wait to play the campaign it sounds pretty interesting with how their is going to be cutscenes.
I'm done with blizzard/activision.

Because that's what is the accepted norm here, to dislike Blizzard.

And you can't despite, what they have done to WoW, judge how SC2 will be because of it. Totally different games.
It's like being racist, because one person of a race did something to you, you automatically hate the rest of the race lol.

What a scam, blizzard releases sc2 on maintenance day for wow. Lets see if they schedule an extended maintenance that day to encourage some sales.
On that note i do intend on buying it the beta was a blast.

Or maybe he was just done with Activion/Blizzard, like others were/are done with SOE, Cryptic, Funcom, NCSoft, etc etc.
Why do people often think that it's because of some herd behaviour that people do things, some form of projection or such, 'people judge as people are'?
Anyway, considering of getting SC2 for the campaign, but will wait till the first reviews hit the net; seems to be some review embargo till launch date, then press gets their examples of the full SC2.
Liked the 1st SC and Brood War very much, great RTS and storylines.

If you do some analysis of posts here, the herd behavior becomes quite obvious. People state their dislike, chiming in with others, without any sort of basis for their opinions.
games are always released on tuesday in the U.S amd friday in Europe... that how it has always been... and if blizzard does an extended maintenance it is probably because they are getting ready for cataclysm
That's a silly question. If you're a fan of RTS games and not getting SC2 well then your no RTS fan. I think everyone should buy it, I'm so sick of half-assed RTS games and SC2 is brining it back to the basics of what it should have always been.

I like Activision and Blizzard... I dont really understand why people seem to hate them so much...
no reason not to get it. hands down, it's the best game out right now (at least the beta was), taking into consideration every MMO as well. it's got the most bang for the buck as well. games, especially MMO's, are looking baaaaad until GW2. sc2 and GA for me until then.
People tend to hate Activision, not Blizzard. Though I suppose Blizzard may get hate from the MMO community for WoW I've never seen Blizzard release anything other than AAA polished games.
