Everquest, Asheron's Call 2, Star Wars: Galaxies, Risk Your Life, Anarchy Online, World of Warcraft, Everquest 2, Guild Wars, and then a few that didn't even really show up on radar.
The one I had the least fun in was Asheron's Call 2.
I would probably have to say EQ... I know its an awsome game for most people but I couldnt really get into this one. I enjoyed the Asherons Call series much better. Dont think I am judging EQ2 becouse I havent even played that yet. Im assuming its similiar to EQ1.
I dont know ive only played 3 games. I kinda like EQ but only played it for 2 weeks didnt even play the whole free month. Party cuz I got NWN and thats free. But Maybe if I played it longer I would have liked it better.
1- WoW, welcome to EQ overgrown tutorial which have nothing to offer really beside been an overgrown tutorial who enforce raiding in a tutorial ways.
2- DAoC, just switching raiding enforcement to raiding in a PvP setting enforcement is definitely a step in the wrong direction. There was very nice features in the game however, like the buffing system. (I assume DnL would be worser, enforcing raiding in a PvP setting in order to earn tradeskill components...but they are to honest for me to even bother trying the game, thanks guys for honesty).

yey finally I can say EQ II sucked donkey balls and not get in too much trouble!!! Basically sony, you owe me 50 hard earned dollars for this complete over hyped rip off.
Thanks for overconcerning yourselves with graphics and underconcerning yourselves with enjoyable gameplay... Even runescape was better than this cause I knew it was crap when I signed up for it and it was FREE - no money wasted just a little bit of time and I got a good laugh in.
Looks like sony got the last laugh on me and my $50.
MU Online hands down for me. Rampant hacking and such. Dev's don't do anything to stop it. They never reply on their own message boards. And the grind is obnoxious

Worst one? Matrix Online. Everything after the first movie has gotten progressively worse with the exception of the AniMatrix shorts. This thing is the latest crap in the crap trail. Almost every independent review I've read is saying this is average at best. Two reviews gave this an 8/10 and 10/10, but they were from websites I've never heard of (maybe they're popular in the UK?). All the major ones, here, G-Spy, G-Spot, IGN, Wired, you name it and... well... you can read them for yourselves.
This game had some good things going for it, but for me the community ruined it. The ones I dealt with are just hyper-sensitive. They make your stereotypical Star Wars fan and Trekkie look socially adept and centered by comparison. Instead of turning people onto the Matrix, they alienate and drive people away even if you act civil. I'm a big Transformers geek myself. What favors would I be doing Hasbro if I flamebaited and flamed people on forums for not singing the praises of the Decepticons? None.
A year later when this game is hardly a blip on the radar, they will have no one to blame but themselves. And I'll be enjoying the live-action TF movie.
Not much to elaborate on really... I just hated the game, it lacked any form of depth. I was in the beta for it I swear like 4-5 years ago and a couple months back when we added it to our gamelist I went back to check it out. Nothing had changed in all that time really. It's like a REALLY low budget backyard version of Earth & Beyond or EVE, something you would expect to play for free yet I believe they still charge like $8 a month for it? They might have changed that since last I looked into it, dunno for sure, definitely not worth it tho.

you wanna hear my oppinion *starts crying* the over hyped peice of crap EQ 2! AND, I was stupid enough to fall for all the hype i bought the damn Collectors edition *starts rocking back and forth* WWHYYY!!!!???? *shoots himself*
I havent' been able to find one game yet that gave me good memories of fun and wanting to go back to it. Everquest I played in its later days, it was ok but it felt old it's hard to associate yourself with an old community. The only game that brings back good memories is Anarchy online when i played it. I want a damn game that willmake me sit at my computer and keep my interest instead of making me feel guilty about the fact that all im doing is grinding and not having fun, and wasiting my time thinking that i could be doing something else more constructive. When will I ever find a damn mmorpg like that? WHEN? *sigh*
Runescape sucks, Rubies of eventide is ok for a free game, Lineage 2 is brain loss bot hell, AC 2 lack of god damn content, FFXI leveling hell and gil hell no fun, EvE imo is boring as hell even the PvP is boring (i understand how most people CAN enjoy this game so dont get me wrong, UO i got into it was too old for me I couldve enjoyed it in the beginnings, SWG i played early so i didnt like it but i might give it another shot, DAoC was my first mmorpg which was ok i didnt like it much, AO I loved, etc etc Ive tried a shitload of games and cant find one to keep my attention and enjoy.
Why cant just every MMO have a free trial, I hate it when i buy the damn game and end up not liking it.

Horizons
Lineage 2 is so far the worst I have ever played.
Just about Any thing made so far by NC soft isn't fun to me.
Lineage 2. Worst grind ever.
I'll have to second the vote for Horizons. Good ideas. Lame Game in the end. Too bad
My vote for biggest hype for the biggest turd mmo: Definately goes to "Mourning". What a total POS and POS Public Relations.

Care to elaborate Kunou? :P
EDIT: To answer the topic, Runescape if that counts as an MMO..*shudders*.

Oh, and Optimus Prime sucks.
Guild Wars is still an MMO.
Lineage II
terrible economy. bot farmers ruin everything here.
horrid community. never before have i seen such a large group of racist, immature ppl on one game.
craptastic character customization. 2 faces and 3 hairstyles per race, and no helm graphics. brilliant!
