This is some very sound advice. I think people really need to take a step back and breathe. MHS’s project offers a lot of promises and features I’m sure everyone craves in a sandbox MMO, features that have been missing for a long time from other companies offers.
As such it takes time and a hell of a lot of blood sweat and tears from all involved to release a polished functioning game. None of us want this project to fail because then we’ll have to look else where for our next MMO. Give them a chance.

What's the point in speculating who is in beta, and who isn't?
It can only harm those who are in the beta. The last beta I have been in (TCoS), testers didnt want to post anymore on the main forums when their name got discovered. Why? Because they where afraid that everything they said (opinions, speculations) where treated like insiders things, and thus almost the same like a dev statement.
I don't know if that is the case to with Earthrise, but if so.. I would suggest stop guessing their names on public boards like these, before you kill your own community.

No the sun blur/glare effect that blurs whole image with hazy veil. Im not the only one who has negative views about MHS, your just joined the party to late to know whats up. Anyway, screenshots from beta testers show no effect of haze, and graphics look alot worse, but it could be that they jus turned down their settings,but over all they have revamped alot of stuff since 2009 so if youre talking about actual models, then yes its better.

I think Earthrise is going to fail, but not JUST because its a poorly designed game, or lacks content, or doesn't do PvP well, but because of their communication with the MMO community.
As an MMO player, when the game goes live and it doesn't do as what MHS intended, I hope they step back and recognize the greater MMO community that has really been telling them "you're doing community management way wrong!" for the better part of 2 years. If I'm wrong and the game is a great success, then they can say "all those nay-sayers were wrong" but my experience tells me that I won't be. And if those same people develop games in the future, with MHS or not, I hope they carry this lesson forward, whichever its moral.

How can you know the development of Earthrise if they can't even communicate their development of Earthrise? You just pretty much contradicted yourself.
I am with you that MHS does have poor communication and press release but they are slowly but surely being more active and releasing more information. The only thing they are missing is of course the gameplay video. Either then that we know nothing of the current state of the game, so we can not be going around making these type of false accusations.
Name a game that has done pvp well on released? Name a game that has released with complete content (besides arenanet and blizzard even then they some times lack content)?

I probably have the same amount of experience with the mmo industry but you don't see me running around saying a game is doomed. If experience teaches me anything a game does not fail until it is forced to close down, as that is the only definition of a fail. We can not judge what a success is unless we go by WoW standard or something like that.
Yes, I do give back poor feedback but I also give back good feedback. That is the problem with the mmo industry people are so one sided. If they dislike the game even if there is positive things in the game they still call it doomed or put their all into disliking the game.

I should have clarified. When I listed those game mechanics, I didn't mean to state that I think those game mechanics are broken. You're right, I haven't seen those mechanics so I don't know if that is the case. I was just listing them as other options as to why people think games fail.
I truly only know of the community management. From that I have decided NOT to play Earthrise on release, and would so only after a thorough set of positive reviews. That is the feedback I intended to the MHS team.
You're also correct that a game only fails once its been closed. As true as that is, spikes or drops in subs can cause an increase or decrease in devs on the team. Those that have to leave the team hopefully take those lessons with them.

That fat woman with no life just gets on my nerves, she bans users or deletes threads for any slight negativity. And I dont post baseless opinions or complaints, i complain about a legitimate issue that is voiced on all ER related forums, even the Bulgarian one.
