Yah that is a pretty bad ass dragon. I never got to see it personally i was busy fighting the big trees at the time. Wish i saw that in game looks amazing in the videos.
I love the zone wide events that they had in Beta. This is what I hoped this game would be. I really enjoy the massive part in MMO and I like how Trion is trying to embrace that with a seemless world and open world events.
I hope they continue at level 50 and there are also more challenging ones that require a full blow organized raid to do.

My one real beef with these events was the lack of loot. As for as I know they didnt drop anything for anyone?

They announced there would be no loot, it was just a "preview" of the event.
so when the game goes live there will be loot?
Aye, the post made on the beta boards by a dev about the feedback they recieved after both events said not to worry that loot would be there at release.
On a side note, I recieved 4 epic pieces(purple) from just 3 runs of RoF (Chest,Shoulders,Sword,Shield) on my Pally so epic loot is being dropped in game just not during the preview of the event.
The dragon had the powers of the Fae, this means he can phase through anything and pwn newbs.
This is not a game.
Aw man, can't believe I missed it. I was being chased down by the massive trees and the Cinderons - it was INTENSE! Yet so much fun, can't honestly wait for the next beta

Seriously that dragon is smaller than many dragons in many MMOs. But the epicness from fighting such a boss is not missing though

That is the whole point. OP didn't mean just the size but how so many players were fighting and dying. But negative nancies as usual have to say something.

With all due respect i never said anything about the size. But if you got videos of so many players fighting a huge dragon in darkfall on screen, please free to post it for us to see. I am sure i will enjoy it too.

Seriously...i meant the ferocity. lol I've run into the Darkfall dragon by accident...it seems more ferocious.

And beats not only this Dragon, but Darkfalls. Please stop with the GW2 videos and graphics, they too are too beautiful.
Its a cool looking boss but its just another instanced boss with the way GW2 works.
I would rather have a seemless open world.
actually that boss fight happens at the end of a dynamic event.

GW2 is not a seemless world. Its just a series of instances that you can teleport between.
Considering what Darkfall is, if the dragon wasn't ferocious I'd have to facepalm with a fist full of gravel.
