I have to agree with this post- I have yet to find a game that was so "ENJOYABLE"- Swotr took all the bad things about games and got rid of the junk-yes its familiar but it is fun that is the key word.
Crafting- Send the Droid from the ship as you have a compaion out to do it- the only peeve here was I could not ask the droid to make say 30 items at a time, but hell I am not complaining at least I am not mindlessly standing there.
Questing does not feel like a chore it feels like I am really doing something. Never even payed attention that I was leveling the immersion was awesome. Take for example I had a quest which I had to cut off a guys head and bring it back to his wife that was in the Cantina, ok I get to the guy he is begging me for mercy bah die you scum ...then I actually start to cut the head off you can hear me sawing away ok now I bring it back to the wife and she is like what is in the bag? I stick the bag out and go its yours husbands head, she starts to scream and I go "what? you doint want it? LOL All the quest have been so amusing its great.
People have been saying that this is a single player and cant be played in groups - but that is not true I play with my husband and we are rewarded for being in group we get social points, we do not lose exp plus we also get into thier storys the NPC acknowledge you brought friiends and it is very rewarding play. You have three options of differnt quest you have solo, you have heroic and you flashpoints. Nice balance of them all.
You have space combat which I agree is not like the old Starwars but it is still a nice diversion. Which they said if more people wanted to have the old type they would in the future. You get a ship to travel around in not some flying crappy thing that clogs up all the towns...
The game plays flawless no problems at all with lag, crashes nothing.
Graphics are amazing the attention to detalis was great.
So far the game has a lot of replayability and each class has been done great I have gotten up to level 22 so far this weekend and 2 other classes to 11 or so and I have not gotten sick of it at all.

That i do understand, but there are alot post here where they used the monthly sub as a motivator not to play it.. some here even said they though i was cool but not worth $15 .. i dont get why ppl consider the cost .. i consider if im entertaint. if it cost $300 sure it would matter .. but 15 ... you easily spend that on food in a day because u couldnt be ased to make something ya self

The world feels persistent?.. in what way?... it's persistent in the way that the NPCs and Mobs are in one position ALL THE TIME and never move?... sure.. it's very very persistent then
SWTOR is far far behind WoW/Lotro/Rift in all the aspects you mentioned.

As long as you do not ridicule a person for his opinion that is fine. Arguing about opinions of a person is not same arguing about pro and cons of a game. I answered your question, but you still fail to see that it is not about whether the "greatest ever" statement was true or false (because it is completely subjective, even though you are ignoring that).
