All the great games that have come out over the years, which one's would you want to have a facelift.
TES: Arena (my favorite TES game)
TES: Daggerfall - so buggy at release I never got around to finishing it.
Waste Lands
Ravenloft: Strahds Possession.
As for MMO's, probably EQ. EQ and DAOC are my two favorite MMO's.
Therre are others to be sure, but these are my top ones.
Comments
Final Fantasy VII, forever and always.
KKND - PC Old Strategy game
Dragon Force 2 - Sega Saturn game that was never officially translated into english, I felt my way through most of the game but never knew how to finish it.
Final Fantasy 7 - Remake that with Advent Children technology and we will start respecting you again Square, shame you are too poor to pull that off now
WoW - If it could make itself look like its intro trailers I would be on that like white on rice. (Skyrim does a great job no?)
Last two will never happen though.
Play for fun. Play to win. Play for perfection. Play with friends. Play in another world. Why do you play?
'Legacy Of Kain- Blood Omen' in the same scope of Skyrim
Star Wars Galaxies. This time not in the hands of SOE.
Dark Age of Camelot.
Everything else can take a flying leap - especially if it could keep me engrossed for another 6-7 years!
MO.
done right, by a skilled and professional dev team with lots and lots of money.
Final Fantasy IV (orginally released as II on the snes, best damn FF game to come down the pike)
Shadowrun (genesis)
Daggerfall (game was such a huge endevour they have never tried to make another ES game of that scope. Yes they have gotten better, but as far as I know, they haven't tackled the whole world like that one tried to)
There is a few more to be sure, just the first ones to come to mind.
I like to see Morrowind with Skyrim's engine.

Currently Playing: Hellgate Global, LoL, Skyrim, Morrowind
Recently Played: Cardmon Hero, Cabal, Oblivion
Starflight 2: Trade Routes of the Cloud Nebula
Master of Orion
Almost any of the old Sierra Online adventure games.
Wing Commander: Privateer
Any of the previous TES games with the Skyrim engine.
Bren
while(horse==dead)
{
beat();
}
Arx Fatalis, or maybe a sequel for it.
Gothic 3 had a lot of potential, properly polished it would have been great.
Freelancer
Hellgate London, another that had a lot of potential. With proper polishing and a more open ended world I think it would be great.
Asherons call and Phantasy star Online - Sega Dreamcast.
Metal gear solid 1 - PSX exact copy but todays DX11 graphics on PC would be nice.
Also would love seeing Sega's Shenmue for Dreamcast remade for PC with same sounds music but better grafics and maybe bigger world.
Hardware - Dreamcast 2 by Sega would be nice with all the orignality/quality games made back then:)
Hope to build full AMD system RYZEN/VEGA/AM4!!!
MB:Asus V De Luxe z77
CPU:Intell Icore7 3770k
GPU: AMD Fury X(waiting for BIG VEGA 10 or 11 HBM2?(bit unclear now))
MEMORY:Corsair PLAT.DDR3 1866MHZ 16GB
PSU:Corsair AX1200i
OS:Windows 10 64bit
EQ1 up to Velious, start fresh from there :P Updated graphics and some new mechanics to make it more interesting in combat, but please no mashfest.
DAOC no question
DDO, 3.5 ruleset in a true open world campaign setting, not simply a dungeon runner.
Vanguard
EQ2

I rather see it even in DX11 engine:)

Horizons/Istaria:
I would be ecstatic if Istaria was ever remade to todays graphic capability and improved combat etc, its the best sandbox on the market but game is barren to to its age.
Ultima Online:
Obviously
Asherons Call
Same as above
Im a sandbox style mmo player, if any of the above were remade i would be very happy....but out of the three ISTARIA is preffered, i have no clue why they have not started to do it already considering how dead the game is atm.
Well you could always donate 50 mil or so to help get them started :P
Seen only 2 titles I can agree on so far in this thread: Masters of Orion & Metal Gear Solid (MSX version though). Also agree with DDO not being a dungeon runner but an open world (pathfinder online is in development BTW).
Personally I would like to add the Baldur's Gate (1) to this list.
[EDIT]
Oh, 2 more just popped to mind. They never had any engine though -> Jinxter and Knight Orc. Would love to see those (and most other old Level 9 adventures) in graphical form
One good thing about asherons call is with the portals, you could have portals into many different worlds with very different populations and atmosphere.
That said I would like to see an asheron's call // horizons crossover. In essence they opened a portal from dereth to istaria and the blight came over. It gave the virindi a false purpose and essentially took over their singularity. At the same time it took over the olthoi.
In complete panic, Asheron and friends seek the help of the dragons who cross over.
Asheron's call 3 -- Dragons in Dereth.
--------------------
Combat would be quite interesting with a dragon in dereth... I mean the war magic spells would be a lot harder to dodge with such a large body, but if you had actual aerial combat you could dodge them in flight....
Star Control 2 is one game I'd like to see remade.
I have stipulations, like a lot, the games I would want redone, also are wanted in earlier form, before direction/play style were changed....People like to disqualify this, but hey its my answer, don't like it....move on.
1. UO - Played from the start, and off and on for 7 years or so...Disliked the t2a movement, played recently and I dislike all the new skill combos and such...I was more pve/crafter, than pk, but still prefered the older game style...System to limit griefing, but not kill pking would be ok by me...like the stat loss system or whatever...sure they could figure a balance out...I still played on the 2d client.
2. EQ - I played this also for 8ish years, and I disliked the LDoN+ content, the instanced dungeons, doing the same dungeon till I want to kill myself trying to get someone that 1 piece of gear...I liked earlier EQ content much more, and LDoN+ content made me hate instances...Which I have had to deal with since...
3. DAoC - Loved the game, hated the nerfing and changing they did, even a year after release....Boting needed fixed, but loved the game for RvR.
4. Vanguard - If only they could of released the game cleaned up, I had a brand new gaming computer so I wasn't hit by all the problems a lot of people had, but I loved the game, until it wasn't getting support anymore....Now it is getting some, but the pvp server is gone, and other things...I do keep an eye on it though...
5. SWG - Great concept, crafting, character/skill builds....Needed buffs adjusted, some skills balanced, and more content in the original style...not what the cu/nge brought....I liked the game, if only they could of put the cu/nge effort into adding content, fixing broken content, and some smaller balancing...Maybe it would of worked out better.
Helbreath.
++1
totally forgot about that one. i would love a baldur's gate mmo.
oh, and while i never got to play it the Ubisoft mmo from way back would be nice to see reincarnated.
