First players reach lvl 50 on EU server

As for how I leveled so fast well I played beta and I had a really good idea of what to do. I skipped every single cutscene as I had seen them in the Beta. I enjoyed the story but there was no point seeing it again.

In little time he will complain about "lack of content"...

If people feel it's worth their money, kudos for them.

I like the comments, though. It's like a million voices of butthurt all screamed at once... :)

    People, it's  a game. It doesn't matter.

my money is on him exploiting the warzone bug to level so fast.... he is just trying to cover his tracks so he doesnt get banned.

gratz on completing a game in 4 days that was meant to take you a month.... now you have nothing to do and nobody to play with! worth it?!?

EDIT: Sweatshops and powerlevellers welcome. This must be a new low in MMO-history.

Sorry if someone into the game gets hurt, but really.... call me hater, I call you blind.

And? He have seen all the content while playing in Beta, anyway. So what's the problem? It's a kind of bonus replay for "achievements".

He'll probably roll a new toon. Or maybe one-manning Illum is great fun :)

The guy who said "I'm still in queue" comment made me laugh for some reason. By the way told you guys some people would do this. It is to be expected.

I see comments here start to closely remind the comments in the original thread. Here, people, take the lotion, it soothes.

To each his own. Ill never understand the joy of rushing to the end just to say Im there. Its like going to a museum and running through every room just to say you've seen the entire museum. Doesn't seem like fun to me.

I don't understand. Why sweatshops and powerlevellers? The whole point of the game is to slowly, in your temp, move through the story; there is no need to artificailly slow down levelling. So if a person skips the story, naturally, it stands to reason that he'll maxlevel in no time (without useless mindless pointless grind). So where is the downside, I don't understand?

Meh, just roll another class and watch more videos.

Yeah, this one was hilarious and spot on.

Unfortunately, my reaction has to be; "And?"

I mean really, did anyone believe this would be the MMO in which we didn't have a player who'd cut every corner and grind ad nauseam in order to proclaim "I hit the level cap first!"?

So, you're ok with the inflated market, 1 day top level players and chat getting spammed to unusable by gold sellers throughout the game...

You don't know what you're denying...

I don't understand this either but I think of it like reading a 'mystery/who done it' book. Some people will just flick to the last page to find out rather then read the book. These people miss the point of reading!

Damn so if you take away the cut scenes, you are left with 2 days of content, they really put that money where it needed to be.

I'm thinking there might have been a little bit of exploiting going on as well.

But in the end, what is the point...or better yet, now what?  Oh go run some flashpoints and collect some gear.

    Yeah, big fun, no really.

You might get some hate for this statement, but yes this is accurate

Do you guys remember any other game in the past where during early access players hit cap somewhere around this guy?

Powerlevelling... I just don't get it.

Well another person that won't be in my way when I do get to play the game. :) Not sure what the pull is to be first to 50th lvl, but its his dime and certainly doesn't bother my game play at all.

On the contrary, the more grind there is, the harder it is to level the toon, the more demand for gold farmers and toon sellers exist. Markets don't become inflated because it's too easy to get to top level. Markets become inflated if there are not enough money sinks. Also, inflated markets provide more profits to crafters, so what's the problem? And since resources can't be camped, artificial inflating of prices for some commodities and therefore the items manufactured from them is impossible also.

I'm not denying anything, since I don't even play the game and not planning it for at least another month anyway, so there is no involvement for me to be in denial about. It's simple analysis.

Some folks do this in every MMO I have played, going back to EQ1. There were level 50s in EQ1 in the second week...a remarkable achievement. To each his own, for some folks, being the first is part of their fun. Who the hell am I to say they are wrong?

It may not be for me, but more power to them if that's what they want to do.

  • sammyelisammyeli Member Posts: 765

You guys forget that because of him you now know that it will be fairly easy to get to max level even if you play it casually.

But on the other hand they might want to start consider dropping content within 3 or 4 months.

Then you shouldn't be amazed why the MMO has no meaningful AH and everything costs more than you can afford by questing.

To me (dark side, mind you), this game is going to be bunch of videos and that's that.
