Wooooooooooooow, he played almost 60 hours out of a total of about 80 hours. That is insane. Sleep ~6 hours per night, play the rest of the day with some bathroom breaks in between. Jesus. I usually play that much in 3 to 4 weeks lol...

So i just wanted to point that like a month ago there was threads talking about how it would take a min of 200 hours to get to 50 and times it by 8 for months of enjoyments. The realist on here tried to warn everyone that was probably not the case but was meant with alot of agreement. just saying

Help me to understand. Why would anyone want to play a new MMO and hit lvl cap that fast. Hell If I hit lvl 30 in less than a week I would prob delete my char and start over simply to avoid wearing out the new that fast. I just don't understand that mentality....Not at all..

The funny thing about this is that they boosted the level 1-10 exp recently as well.

This is bad, this is really going to leave a bunch of people with nothing to do by the time their first 30 days are over. 2 days of rushing at the slowest would be around 2 weeks for an average MMO player. So that would mean at least 2 characters at max by the end of the first month.

Unless they start releasing stuff by the third month this game might take a huuuuge hit.

To be fair there were also a number of people in those threads who admitted there would be people who would still "race" through the content.  It happens in every game.  The only game I can think of that recently launched and people weren't level cap in the first few days is Aion, and that game most of the complaints was of the "grind."  Apparently people do want to be able to get to level cap in a week, except when they don't.

The guy did nothing but quests, skipped all the VO's, knew beforehand where the quests were, what he had to do, the order in which he would do them, had tremendous amounts of experience with the class he was playing, and had a friend to help him out. Hey, just saying.

BTW, I hope you know that those 200 hours is considered an average. An average.

So someone raced through the entire story line just to be the first one to hit top level? You find these people in every new game or new expansion and it means exactly what?

So what does it mean? Does anyone really think this is a big accomplishment other then the idiot who did this? If anything, this person or persons who do this skip out on the best part of the storyline especially in this game.

Besides, one minute after finding out who did this, everyone will forget the name of this person. It means nothing, they mean even less.

Again, if you would read what he actual said you would noticed that he did the whole story in beta. He didn't miss out on anything. I'm not saying I agree with what he did but if he still enjoyed his time doing it then who are we to say that he's playing wrong.

Sorry if someone into the game gets hurt, but really.... call me hater, I call you blind.

I don't understand. Why sweatshops and powerlevellers? The whole point of the game is to slowly, in your temp, move through the story; there is no need to artificailly slow down levelling. So if a person skips the story, naturally, it stands to reason that he'll maxlevel in no time (without useless mindless pointless grind). So where is the downside, I don't understand?

It's for the same reason sandbox games are popular.

At max level in a THEMEPARK MMO, players get the MOST FREEDOM TO DO WHATEVER THEY WANT.

At lower levels, you are restricted from many features. But at max level you get all talent points and all dungeons and instances. Also you can go to any zone in the game rather than restricted to a few low level areas. That's so dull. Max level is better and more fun than being a low level unless you like twink gaming in most MMO, which many people do not.

The advent of "achievements" and "world first" nonsense from a certain childrens' MMO has produced this off-shoot of e-sports, giving overweight, pale, nervous and sweaty nerds a sense of greatness.

Mah Q is down from 400 to 245! woot!

pretty much.  all you have to do is look at Rfit to see what is going to happen to SW:TOR. in a few months sub numbers will be well under 500k. but any who is enjoying the game dont let that be your deciding factor. sub numbers dont mean much if your still having fun.

I think this is worth a google.  Why?  because it has been asked so many times on so many forums. So if you are needing to learn reasons, that is what YOU should do.

I suspect you already know this and are posturing to make a point.
