My post was not a troll post just the truth really.. In beta i only got up to lvl 20 or somthing with a sith warrior but i did not feel i had to group up. I did try some of the group missions and it was ok just felt like somthing bolted on really..
I really love star wars but i think this game is a big let down.. but thats my opinion like the OP had his

However I like SWTOR, it looks great, but more as a singleplayer/ Coop with friends kind of game. The one thing I would like to see change is the emptiness of all maps, every location has been made so grand, that they feel empty, and you notice this too well on maps like Coruscant and Nar Shaddaa.

SWTOR will cater to the needs of many MMO'ers and it will fall short for mony others you can write all the threads you like but it wont change this fact. I think a lot of dissapointment in the game is coming from starwars fans rather than MMO fans.

Main problem with every mmo released is hype im sure there will be whining and forum pvp on GW2 forum when it is released aswell some ppl have unrealistic notions that just arent there, I think SWTOR is very good, and to me quite refreshing but hey its my opinion and I am enjoying it which is the only thing that matters to me.
One thing I learned from SWTOR which I didnt follow at all is I dont want to buy in to any hype anymore I wont even bother reading up and watching videos I will read some overview and see it when I get there. I will likely buy GW2 aswell since I dont have to pay a sub doesnt mean I wont be having a blast in SWTOR . I have never played a game pre-released as polished as this, I didnt buy Rift after beta cause I honestly didnt like it this has nothing to do with Rift for instance or any others I have played since I played WoW.

There are a lot of reasons to dislike TOR, but still like MMOs:
Lack of Racial Diversity (player Races and NPCs)
Poor UI and Lack of mods
Graphic Artisic Style
Too Easy
Too Linear - not enough Alternatives quest lines
Lack of Weapons Diversity (ie BH cannot use a Carbine instead of a pistol)
Dislike the acting quality of the VOs
Dislike of some animations
World life seems too static
Just to name a few.
Tor is a good game for some mmoplayers, but it certainly is not the best game for every MMO player (sandbox and Themepark).

Are you new to mmo's?? ! It's well polished for launch.. but plenty of bugs. No animation in the environment... lack of graphics.. lack of world pvp.
