Woah those were seriously game breakers, thank god they fixed those bugs that have not been in the game since 2nd beta. whew game changer.
They still didn't fix the unresponsive cobat feel even with e GCD fix, they got to fix multiple things like the animations for example since they went with visuals over response or flow.
I might get banned for this. - Rizel Star.
I'm not afraid to tell trolls what they [need] to hear, even if that means for me to have an forced absence afterwards.
P2P LOGIC = If it's P2P it means longevity, overall better game, and THE BEST SUPPORT EVER!!!!!(Which has been rinsed and repeated about a thousand times)
Common Sense Logic = P2P logic is no better than F2P Logic.
I am going to wait till end of Jan to make statements.

And they had to do this prime time on a bank holiday in the uk atleast for most of the day, sigh.....
For a customer focused company this tells me they are simply US customer focused.
They just apointed 200 odd staff working out of Ireland, couldn't they have hired a couple of server admins too?
I Think all mmos I have played have done work on games at this time unless a fix is needed asap in the evening. Dont get me wrong I feel for you guys overseas but i dont see how anyone can be surprized by this.

As much as I enjoy the game I have to agree. I play a Smuggler-Scoundrel (Sawbones spec) and when I'm crouching everytime I hit a healing ability it cancels half way through because of the animation (it forces me to crouch again instead of finishing the healing animation, thus canceling my heals).
It's quite annoying, so I play a Smuggler that can't use the cover mechanic because of these issues.
First one...when you get stuck and you go to the support page and hit unstick...it didn't work. I was stuck and hit it like 5 times. It would be great to have a suicide option. My character appeared to be running all the time so I couldn't use skills. Logged off/on, quit the game and came back. Finally when I restarted my game I was still in the hole but atleast I was running continually and i was able to hearth to a settlement.
Solution: better unstick key or give me the ability to atleast kill myself so I can hearth back to whereever.
Problem 2...the guild members page is not working correctly. Guild members will be on but are not being displayed. Others in the guild are also seeing this. For example, we are talking to the guild leader, but she is not showing up as on. One day there were five people on and no one was showing up online.
Problem 3...sell back feature. This isn't really a bug, but when you get lag and you click to buy something and nothing happens...so you click it again and next thing you know you have 2 of something. Another problem a lot of people are having is when you go to preview something...log of people accidentally buying it instead. This isn't so much a bug as a bad design issue. There's a post several pages long where people have made this mistake.
They made a lot of money already. Where's the money going? Where are the gms when there is a problem. Customer support seems to be lacking.
There's never going to be chat bubbles. If you go to the chat window and select the other tab it records all dialog without the general chat spam so you can scroll back through it.
Thanks god they said its pretty high on their priority list. I saw original post on forums so its not some rumor.
Link where they say, no chat bubbles??
For me, that's something that NEEDS to be in a mmo. With chat bubbles, the cities feels more alive
No one on my server use the /say cous no one sees it
Ahh fudge sticks, no friggin fix for the broken Act 1 BH boss...
Do you mean act 3? Because I'm a BH and had no issue completing Act 1, but I've read on the forums a current issue with Act 3's ending.
NM, my next post answers my own question. You can get past that bug, just leave some npc's beat the boss down all the way then die to get him out of combat to move to the next step.
They need to fix Jarros padawan on the last mission for the great hunt (BH), even after she dies she still heals her master so you have to either cc her or kill her then drag him to the other end of the command deck and finish him there. It's just a lousy bug if you don't know about it before hand.
Ah that one, I fortunately had left some enemy mobs alive so I just used them to kill me off and then he went back to his spot and I was able to continue the quest after I used my medical probe. Annoying bug, I agree.

I'd really love to see chat bubbles as well A game with chat bubbles feels more social.
as long as there is a way to turn of chat bubbles I am happy to see them in, do not want my imersion ruined on the pve rp server by some idiot speaking in CAPS OR D00D speak in chat bubbles.

Is Bioware the new SOE?
As long as I log into teh game tomorrow adn the combat system is the same, they have nothing on SOE.
And they had to do this prime time on a bank holiday in the uk atleast for most of the day, sigh.....

Guess thats a sad reflection on the MMO industry then. Even two men and a dog outfits in just about any other industry will try to maximise availability. They are a 24 hour multinational corperation. I don't understand why EU staff don't do US maintenance (so no overtime required) and US staff don't do EU maintenance. Thier hosting contract wlll give them 24/7 'physical hands at the server' if that is required. Aparently they hired 150 or 200 staff in the EU for this launch, it makes no sense whatsoever.
What is going on with this maintenance? Now they don't know when they're going finish. Do we get time back onto our accounts? I paid for this time.
lol no chance. Fans will tell well hurr durr not as bad as WoW. If you bring up Rift they get a case of amnesia. It really is fun to watch. Hopefully the time for maintenance goes lower, but I doubt it.
A couple of things.... it isn't an ETA. ETA = estimated time of arrival... that makes no sense. Also... don't thank me for my patience. That's obnoxious. ASK me for my patience.
All in all for us europeans Bioware needs to plan their Maintenance better. All of europe is having a day off and they plan Maintenance and a patch.
Maybe they should have seperate maintenece times for EU and US. So people on both sides of the big blue pool have maintenance during their night sleep.
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
Soe is the only thing that has ever made EA look good, although having extended downtime to fix some minor bugs on what is probably the biggest day this game was going to have as xmas is over people have finally got home, xmas present games are unwrapped and inlaws have left means we get to return to our pc dens fire up the beast and ah crap its offline.
Seriously getting it wrong today is going to cost you a lot of fence sitter subs, i personally really like the game and will be subbing but still feel this is going to cost them big.

My brand new bloggity blog.
I found two annoying bugs.

The following statement is false
The previous statement is true

I agree.
The option for CHAT BUBBLES would be a very welcome improvement. I see there used to be a way to force them, but BW made sure to make that not work.
I would imagine they would give a 'free day', if their maintance ends up taking most of the day.
lol no chance. Fans will tell well hurr durr not as bad as WoW. If you bring up Rift they get a case of amnesia. It really is fun to watch. Hopefully the time for maintenance goes lower, but I doubt it.
SWTORThe Old Republic"
We'll be extending the #SWTOR maintenance, no current ETA. We will let you know when the servers are live. Thank you for your patience.
@Zackaryel Apologies, but no ETA at this time.

Good game but seems like its run by a bunch of amateurs. Really small patch, 6 hours and they still can't get it right. Dreading when a big one comes.
