Social points are truely innovative. It's in fact so story driven that you can easily mistake it for a single player game. The social points are there to remind you that you're playing an "MMO".

Edit: indeed a nice necro, should have known.

It has a single player space game. Other MMOs concentrate on mainly multiplayer

It gave me a game that Ive been enjoying  playing over 1 year straight without sub-stoppage!

It also does things differently from other games as Dark Pony stated earlier.

All my opinions are just that..opinions. If you like my opinions..coolness.If you dont like my opinion....I really dont care.
Playing: ESO, WOT, Smite, and Marvel Heroes

DarkPony has long left SWTOR alone.

None of the stuff in that list is really unique, although may do things differently but not better and does not do much to keep people playing

SWTOR has companions, but I prefer the STO companion system, although they do not craft for you, but I prefer to craft myself. You can send Duty Officers on missions to get items. Also in combat if you die, the STO companions can revive you or your group mates, whereas in SWTOR if you die, so does your companion, which I find to be a bit stupid. Even companions in SWG carried on fighting while you remain unconsious or dead. SWTORs companions are only intelligent via cut scenes, STOs comapanions are intelligent on the field.

Craftting and Re-engineering - SWG did these far better

Space mini game - SWG, STO, EVE does this far better

I played SWG for 8.5 years straight with no sub-stoppage, and only got stopped as it shut down.
