Your statements are no different then anyone elses no matter how much you claim it cause even if it's true then am I to guess that you did tests personally to test the differences in damage between enchants? am I to believe that you did extensive research on the skill vs gear comparison? Or am I most likely to believe that you're another "it never happened to me so it never happens" fan like I stated before? You consider my negative opinions add nothing to the conversation cause you choose to ignore the problems of the game instead of insisting to get them fixed. There is a reason that fans gain the term of being "blind". Ignoring problems that people have encountered and chalk them up to negative opinions that add nothing to the conversation or help out the game is the main reason fans are called blind. I don't state others opinions are "wrong". I state that if they believe my opinions are uncredited then theirs are just as uncredited without proof proving otherwise. That's not an obligation telling them that they have to have proof but saying my opinion based on things i have researched isn't true without providing something to back up their opinion based on their experience then it's no different. It's not about being right and wrong, it's about that you can't claim that my opinion is wrong just cause you say so without anything to back it up.

I can see it being possible getting 1 shotted in this game so maybe I was wrong. If you get hit by a classes most powerful skill then sure but I stand by my statement that its your fault. This is not a game where you stand face to face watching dice rolls. You are in total control of what happens. If you aim / time correctly you will hit your oppenent, if you move / evade you will not get hit by your opponent. This simple rule is what TERA's combat is all about and its what makes it special. Did you not fight mobs and try to get perfect victorys? I sure as hell did and will continue to do so. Learn the game people.

I consider it an X factor. Meaning it could effect MMOs but it might not, it mainly depends on how good the game is and how much content is in it. Considering beta testers only get to do the first main mission of the game, their opinions aren't much to go on.

Well i have a chem test in 11hrs, a 6-8 page research paper with 5 minate presentation due in 9 and half hours and i haven't done neither so i'm just stalling here =X

That's debatable. I found AoC's combat system unnecessarily cumbersome as a melee. Tedious if you will.
Way too many pressing of buttons for what amounted to much of nothing. Directional shields on me, directional shields on my foe(s), combo animations which I could not break out of, directional (up to FIVE!!!) for melee attack skills and some other "real action combat" stuff which I forget.
Well so far what I've noticed, in Tera you really need to have good reflexes and be constantly aware of your surroundings, it's kinda "skill-based" because of that, but... essentially the game isn't too far from classic point-clickers, meaning gear and levels do matter to some extent (well d'uh). At current low levels, you can't really see it, but when people on PvP servers will reach level cap and get their top gold gears, a lot of people will quit Tera or move to PvE servers, just because of frustration of getting constantly ganked and camped. Like someone mentioned in this tread, even one player that knows what he/she is doing, can take out several other players. Now imagine that one player at lvl cap, gold-geared, being bored... yeah relax your butt-muscles and enjoy your butt-rape.

I used to but then I played it on and off for over a year while waiting for it to come out over here and now it's flaws outweight its good points. It also doesn't help that no one in my gaming group is interested in playing it anymore.
