ok, since theres no real help topic right now heres a question: whtas the standard speed for a wireless router for gaming? the 1 i got is 11 mbps, and i read some user reviews on newegg of people saying they had pings of 50 using the 1 i got. any1 had bad experiences with them?

Intel Pentium -- nice series, good plus with the 512k cache, but there's one thing...TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE! They overprice it wayyy too much, and just becaues it's "reliable" dosen't mean you wanna pay another 100 bucks for it
Intel Celeron - No...just no...don't even think about getting a celeron, they suck...ass. they have like 128k cache, which is bull
AMD -- the best processors (IMHO) the 2500 , and the 2800+ all have 512k cache, and they are a hella lot cheaper than intel's. The 64 fx cpu's are nooice a whole meg of l2 cache
lol my post was a little late... 104 pages i didnt notice >.< but yea, ive had two AMD's my last one just stopped working one day... and I have one right now that I got with a pc set for 200 on disco, becasue my old comp fellin the car on the way to a lan game and broke... never trust seatbelts....
after 6 or so years, I had to change it a little...
lans=best party you can have. just got back from my new years lan party, 1st 1 with my new pc . just had lots and lots of coffee, and before we started we stockpiled lots of taco bell. desert storm, age of mythology, raven shield, black hawk down, call of duty, and we tried that xmp for unreal 2, which is pretty good. so tonight im gonna be gettin lots... of sleep. boy it was fun though.

oi gunblade its 1600 autralian. i already said that but hey i just wanted to clear it up and the sound is onboard... gigabyte is the joint manufacturer with ati producing the vid card and yeah thats all
thats what i thought too.... im just think bout gettiung another stick of RAM Corsair....... the vid card i outta stock from the place im getting it so its gonna take a while till i can actually use the new comp..... so im stuck with this rewalllly bad one for a while. this comps specs
13 inch screen (i no u dont hav to tell me)
a ball mouse and a key board with 3 cm big buttons
no vid card, no sound, no network
asus motherboard....... bout 5 years old
RAM is like 64 megs MAYBE
1 fan crappy case... 20 gig hard drive
celeron 2.0 GHZ
and thats all:P it is also worse beyon those specs, since it ovaheats (and if u dont no which u will anyway so i dont no why im telling u, overheating sometimes occurs when the parts ovaheat to much cause they r doing to much work or the case is to bad etc.... and as u can c these parts r crappy so just imagine how bad the fan and case etc is!!!).
oh and just to emphasis that more i can hardly run CS and cant run warcraft 3:P
