Felt this was very fitting especially for this forum.. Especially his 3rd topic.. worth a watch!
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg

I love his first point:
game 1 + game 2 + game 3 = WIN
still watching....
Are you team Azeroth, team Tyria, or team Jacob?

lmao, so true! How dare Aerowyn try and manipulate us with this dribble. Now, back to the TSW forum I go.
Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not.
his blogs are great as are his PVP videos I highly suggest people to subscribe to him on youtube

This is EXACTLY my view as well - I have tried numerous times to get this across to other players but they have thier fanboi blinkers on and theres no reasoning with them!
This guys views on gaming are solid- we need more people like him playing mmo;s to up the genre before fanbois kill the mmo market for good!
which is funny because it's exactly what some companies are doing with their games blaming the gamers for the game not doing well

Ed was a great addition to The Republic show on Gamebreaker, since he brings a lot of sensibility to others who deny problems exist (although the other co-hosts are coming around these days).
It goes beyond just fans flaming each other with personal attacks for like / not-liking certain games. EA this year was notorious for blaming their own customers on different occasions for their flagship product SWTOR failing. They even went to directly blame casuals, since their game was not received well by even casuals.

Recognize the voice? Yep sounds like Penny Arcade's Extra Credits.
What I don't get is just fanbois in general.
I admit that I love playing WoW. But I've played it forever and I'm looking for something new. Unfortunately MMO devs having been producing games just like WoW. I don't need another WoW, I already have one.
I'm super excited about GW2 because it is aiming to be different. I hope it is. I plan on playing it for some time to come. And when I need to take a break, WoW will still be there. And when I need to take a break from WoW, I hope GW2 will still be there. Hell, I might even play both at the same time.
I don't understand the need for a WoW killer, or why everything else needs to fail.

i agree I'm more interested in just finding a game that's fun and can spend tons of time playing without getting bored..

It drives me crazy when people do his #3. "Hahaha you're a fanboy because you bought into the hype! You've been tricked! Just wait until 3 months after release!"
Sorry, dude. If I like a game, it is because I gave the game my own critical assessment and came out on the other end of the critique with a highly positive overall opinion. It works as follows:
Game is good, therefore I become a fan.
NOT
I am an indoctrinated fan, therefore I brainlessly claim the game is good.
Nanulak
this guy rocks! I agree with pretty much everything he says here.
I don't get how fail+faIl+fail=win.
it isn't the fans of the genre that created the games or the failing mechanics in said games. It is the overzelous ones that voice them the most though.
Also did he say there was nothing wrong with SWTOR?
No, .... no he didn't
