well if you hung out in the irc chat you would know they found investors and the games in closed development now. They gave all active subscribers refunds and closed the servers to the public.

They gave refunds to everyone who wanted a refund on those pre orders. people had like 2 months to get a refund.. If you were too dumb to get one after they posted how to well than thats on you. They even gave refunds to the active subscribers without them having to ask for one before they closed the servers.

No, they did not give back the 10 dollars they ripped off all the pre-orders. Many of the pre-orders had problems get refunds and Dave and billing claimed that have "no authorization" to give pre-orders. That is before the triple billing/double billing and lost money problems. It was only of many unethical issues with the game, which fanboys have yet to answer for.
The game is dead for a reason. It is dead, have you ever seen a mmorpg that is released then folds back into closed beta and closes it forums, chat and site? It was a nasty business with a crap-pot game that was killed by bad press(the truth) about. Even the last of the fanboys stop protecting the game, and Mourning has no more people that will trust it besides you and cosy.This thread didn't get 23,000 views for no reason, and has been shown to turn back many potentail customers.

Dave (or whatever Romanian dev at ramdom), I am pleased that someone else put some more money in your pile of crap, since you are only good in taking money rather than putting money in the game.
Enjoy this extra lifeline, till it lasts, when (if) Mourning will be released again it will be too old and so last year, that no one will bother.
Plus the problem is not the game, it is YOU who speak with your arse instead of engaging your brains before opening your hole.
You like to take the piss out of your customers, and I doubt that this attitude will change in the future, so I can predict that Mourning will flop once again, this time with fireworks.

Nobody cares about your silly game, with or without new funds, Mourning will always be a pile of shite because it is supported by people like you who got no respect for its own customers and for other people opinion in general.

I don't think anyone injected new money into Mourning at all. I think it's likely to be another fib. The publisher and some of the devs started fibbing early on about the beta date, and they didn't stop fibbing until the recent closure. Sorry... I do like to give everyone the benefit of a doubt, but these people basically proved themselves untrustworthy ages ago.
Personally, I don't believe it was initially an attempt at fraud. I think it was simply a case of mismanagement in the extreme. Looking at the amount of people who actually spent money on this game, I doubt anyone made any sort of profit at all. The only fraud, in my opinion, was during these last few months when nearly everything the devs said turned out to be complete bollocks, probably in an attempt to put off the game's final breath. Business naivet

Anyone who defends this game is a troll or a fellow scam artist all the facts are laid out on page one. Read the first post and ask yourself does the word scam apply?
This game was single handedly the most uninspired, unimaginative morpg ever partially created. Congrats Limitless Horizons and Dev team you managed to make the worst game ever.
To all the parties involved in the scam called Mourning have fun hiding any connection to this game for the rest of your business lives.
Razor, cmon now, comparing a game that has had a legitimate run for four great years (okay have not played it in a couple years, but loved it from day one) Anarchy Online, with a game that has not progressed, actually regressed from its beta stages two years ago (Realms of Torment, aka Realms of Krel and Mourning), I think that is a little far fetched mate!

BTW, what ever happened to Mourning? I haven't been around for a while and when I do go and check out thier website, it says "Updating...check back soon!". Didn't they already release? Odd practice to shut down a website and a board of an already released game...not that Limited Horizons wasn't already practicing oddly.
