Games like WoW have a bit more license because of the cartoony graphics and the overall light hearted feel of the game. However, the last to expansions they may have crossed the line.

They realize that it's more than simply immersion breaking, it shifts the way the game can be perceived by the players and it loses it's integrity.

It's official, Arche Age has been ruined. After so long of waiting and however long I was still going to have to wait beyond this post, I no longer have to wait.
Like all other Asian influenced games, they somehow have to completely ruin it with something that just doesn't make sense.
Anyway, I'm not here to gripe. I just want to know is there any other games on the horizon that have really interesting exploration with the added bonus of ships and nautical warfare? Preferably something that is medieval fantasy based.

What the....I was expecting to see a Prius rolling around for all the whining I see. They're rickety, seemingly steam-powered vehicles. They're not high-tech or anything. Why do people assume that a fantasy world is completely ignorant to technology? There's like hundreds of high-fantasy games out there that have nothing but swords and wands for days, let AA try its own thing.
I don't even want to play this game and I'm annoyed at its community now.

CARS! That's a bit over the top for me... I was not going to get the game anyways just b/c of the micro managing of farms and restricted freedoms of dealing with these things daily. Takes away FUN of any game for me.
Asian MMO's never have been that good to me anyways.... haven't found one I like.
