I understand them all to well, threads and rants like these are all to predictable lol.
Funny thing is these hypocrites will be the first to log into the game.
meh, some people will. I won't.
But then again NOW I would be interested in an actual steam punk game. Not one where i can look at disparate elements and never realize it was a steam punk game.
Again, that's my largest complaint. The art design is just plugged in elements. Heck, I'm looked at the second posted video with the car and was thinking that his clothes say one thing, he has a bow and a larger sword and a car.
And yet the sailing ships are of another era as well as the architecture. But "whatever" I've already stated my opinion on that several times.
But now i actually have a "steam punk" question. It is my understanding that steam punk allows for the inclusion of technology that wouldn't normally be in the particular era by adopting that era's current technology in order to make it happen.
Yet that car clearly has a combustion engine.
Wouldn't it be more keeping with the theme to have a steam powered car? Especially since early steam powered cars were actually better than early combustion engine cars?
Or does it not matter and the general thrust is to allow for any technology as long as the art design is of the time?
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."
Well thank you for the video, I'm now officially no longer interested in the game. Damn shame, at least this wasn't the only hope for a decent sanboxie mmo.
Definitely sucks they ruined it so fast.
To find an intelligent person in a PUG is not that rare, but to find a PUG made up of "all" intelligent people is one of the rarest phenomenons in the known universe.
Ken Fisher - Semi retired old fart Network Administrator, now working in Network Security. I don't Forum PVP. If you feel I've attacked you, it was probably by accident. When I don't understand, I ask. Such is not intended as criticism.
I can have flying wing back packs but no steam, wood cars?... hmmm well it seems to fit well with me. I world is technology (ships, wings, Cars etc) and magic.
