That in mind, how people keep releasing MMO's with such weak endgame content at launch its beyond me.
Gotta give it to them though, they have an engine that can handle a LOT at the same time. Despite the weak launch content I'm faithful that it will turn out to be a good game.

Some people are just very good at MMOS. You might feel they are rushing but they are not. For them its normal playstyle. Also remember that players who have been playing beta for months now already familiar with content and will hit level cap in no time.
"Good," lol. As others have pointed out, having more time to spend on something is not an indication of some kind of "skill." You don't have to "rush" to finish something quickly if it's the only thing you are doing with your time.
Never said anything about amount of time spent did i? The PVE content in ESO is same as any other themepark MMO. And experinced players after many years of playing MMOS can level very fast without spending 12+ hours a day in front of PC.
Have you even tried PVE in ESO? its not complicated at all. You can level quite efficently even if you play just 2 hours a day and i am sure majority of casuals spend a lot of time during weekends which can speed up leveling.

These things were never meant to be for "as soon as you hit 50" (Veteran Rank 1.) Heck even the expert dungeons are tiered into two groups: half for VR1 and half for VR5.
Adventure Zones are VR5 or even VR10 group content (with the possibility of extending the VRs beyond 10 as I understand it.)
I won't even try to guess how quickly the first person to VR10 will get there since some always do it faster in every MMO than I ever imagine...
For the rest of us, May or June might even be earlier than we need.

I just hope they focus on the quest system in the game. Last weekends beta was still loaded with quests that were broke.
I would rather see content like this put on hold while they fix the main questing system that seems to be struggling with Phasing.

This was explained on a couple of sites like TESOF and the subreddit /r/elderscrollsonline.
What happened in the beta stress tests [including the last ESO test March 14-16] was you had a f-ton of players all wanting to interact-with/kill an NPC, so the interaction gets backed up, like in the old days when a line of Soviet Russians had to queue up to buy toilet paper.
If everyone leaves the room (logs-out, logs-back-in) it puts the player in a different instance where the interaction can be completed.
Example: Main Quest - Rescue Lyris Titanborn ... couldn't get Lyris to hit a rockslide with her axe and clear the way. I had to exit to login screen about three times before I could get past that bottleneck. Same thing with a number of other quests.
The stress tests are only running on partial server capacity, with too many players in same instance, so the phasing was clogged because of limited server capacity. This was actually by design, to "break" the interactions on the server, and examine what capacity was needed to keep things running smoothly.
According to the testers on the Private Test Server [where they're running a more up-to-date version of the game] the phasing does a good job of letting a player progress through the content.
This is why Zenimax has announced that they will be running overflow servers on launch, so the massive influx of players will not cause the same issues we've seen in the beta tests.
WoW, the most successful, launches their xpacs without raid access. They give players a chance to reach max level and get some dungeon gear without having to feel rushed. And they've gotten away with it for at least the last two, as they will be doing with the upcoming release. It's not really that big of an issue.

After what happened this weekend nobody cares... most people were unable to pass through most areas so when it launches they will never reach the level cap anyway.
Its nice that they are focusing on that and not the endgame experience but still... they need a miracle to fix all the bugs they had this weekend in time for launch.

But most people who had negative comments went in with the expectation of playing a finished product.
Zenimax specifically said they were stress-testing the servers again, on an old build [this was in the patch notes - which of course nobody reads].
The backlog of players all trying hit the same NPC & phasing were responsible for the impression that the quests were "broken."
Most people with limited experience testing games, don't have any idea what a stress-test is, and they probably don't care either.
Personally, I think it's going to take a large number of positive responses from players, after the launch, to counteract the negative response of recent beta testers, who expected to preview the launch-day-build of ESO.
I agree. The problems with the games are not bugs (which actually would be a good thing). The game is fundementally flawed. The phasing just doesn't work and hampers the main point that people would buy this game for, to play with other.
I think this is perfectly fine, especially with the kind of MMORPG Elder Scrolls Online is trying to be. I for one, even as an MMO vet, will be taking my time. Even without adventure zones at launch there is still a ton of content. It's not the first MMO to not have raids at launch and still succeed and many still don't have raids at all.

If you're even thinking about the speed at which you level, you may be in the wrong game. ESO is a well designed RPG, where leveling is just an incidental thing that happens while you're experiencing content, the leveling itself is a byproduct of playing the game, not the game's purpose. This is not a game that "starts at max level," it's a game that starts at level 1.

All newly launched games start at LVL 1 my friend. You are stating the obvious but that has nothing to do with players who just level very efficently and already know ins and out of the pve content thanks to their beta experince.

You're missing my point. ESO is a game where if you are "leveling efficiently" you are probably doing it wrong, because the path that levels most quickly and the path that experiences all of the available content are probably not the same paths.

Umm that is entirely subjective and varies from player to player. Just following the main storyline and doing every single quest is good enough way to level efficiently.

This. Exactly.
Not having raid content does not rly bother me because i dont expect much from eso pve. but my concern is with how the game is being managed. it seem at least to me a big big mess.
why is this not having raid content a talking point now? why did we have to speculate? why has this 'have or have not' info not been set in stone 2 months ago? was zenimax trying to rush it for launch but just now admit it cannot be done in time?
i dont know i may be wrong but all these talks raise many questions.
pay gated race selection. cash shop horse. phasing. the amount of bugs. now this.
dont get me wrong i dont hate the game. i pre ordered it but smthing (a lot of things) seem very poorly managed here.
One of obvious reasons to rush to 50 has nothing to do with the Adventure Zones, it's about people who want to be Emperor. PvP as a level 50 is a different story than it is for a level 10-49, so there are huge advantages to be level 50. There are definitely going to be guilds who rush to 50 during the early access period in order to take maximum advantage in their quest to become an Emperor.
Level 50, not just for PvE.......
I've got no aspirations in that direction, but I suspect for the first 90 days you'll see a harder core PvP audience than a PvE one. We'll see how soon Zenimax starts to get them out there, my personal guess is they would like Craglorn out before people's 30 day free period ends, give them a chance to try it, and keep subscription dollars flowing.

I hate people who act like MMOs are hard. I was working 44 to 48 hours a week while playing FFX:ARR and i still hit cap in 2 and a half weeks, people told me i was rushing.
i did ever quest, and i listened to it, i didnt mash enter or escape to speed it up so i knew the story line. The only thing i dont do in games are chase achievements, because they are mindless busy work in my opinion.
These new MMOs have no leveling curve, everyone bitches about grind grind grind so they remove it all and then act surprised when a competent gamer blows throw your content in less then a month.

Just to get ESO live will quite be the accomplishment and something to celebrate. The addition of content like adventure zones will be but a formality, an expected one, but still just a formality. I'm looking forward to the live game.
I quite disagree with that kind of mentality.I personally think that a game's future is actually determined by how good and ''far'' will the first release will go.When u invest time-materials etc in order to accomplish something wether is a pvp rank or a weapon, there is no point to add new stuff or new content, its just erases the whole effort
My opinion is...let the game develop itself give it time, if its a solid early relase ,that will help aswell, and in about 7-9 months go for a powerful new release with much new content without taking off game's main characteristics though, thats just my point of view
people who chew through game content like that aren't actual gamers they have some form of ocd that or game devs have become so lazy and the structure of achieving level fifty so dumbed down that they should be ashamed
