Thats for the PT Server for testing not live. So who knows what will be in live. But really that is the longest list i've ever seem for fixes. Should tell you alot.
Even if it is for the pts, why would someone bitch about them fixing stuff? The haters are strong for this game.

Nice, i hope they will add an option to change a characters appearance.. I just recently noticed (level 49) something that annoys me very much of my character. It seems wierd, but i really don't have motivation to keep playing on a character that isn't exactly how i like it to be.

You got through 49 levels and only just noticed ? Holy cow Batman !

Different strokes for different folks, brother. I "personally" am enjoying the game quite a bit atm. Will I get bored / burnt out with it in the future? perhaps....but for now, the money I have spent is well worth the entertainment hours if has brought since release. If I was to read these forums or better yet...the majority of this website, I would never try ANY game as they supposedly all suck. The patch notes are a step in the right direction, no matter how any of the haters try to spin it.

That list shows intent, but until its actually executed... write it off as a possibility or a mere letter of intent.
They probably did not expect such a large negative reaction and if they start seeing subs canceled well before the first month is over, that means they will have to do or say something to encourage players to stick around...even if they dont end up delivering. This technique has been used often with subscription based business models.

Nice ridiculous negative spin. If anything it shows they are working their asses off to fix things, not to mention honor their aggressive commitment to 4-6 week content releases. The amount in that Adventure Zone is huge. Most of the content they had planned many months in advance so your theory of lets rush now before the month ends is a bunch of BS.
That's a nice list of potential fixes and hopefully they work.
There are 3 types of people in the world. 1.) Those who make things happen 2.) Those who watch things happen 3.) And those who wonder "What the %#*& just happened?!"

Your apparent hostility to anyone and anything that doesnt confirm your bias has been noted.
Lesson number 1, dont tie your self esteem to a video game/brand/company. It is silly, since as a result you end up defending it as though you are defending yourself.
That said, perhaps you are not understanding what content entails. In the patch intent list, only a small fraction of that is content. If you bothered to look at most of the complaints people had with ESO, you would know that its not the content thats bothering them... its the numerous design choices and bugs. Coincidently (i think not) that is the vast majority of what the patch intent list covers.
The simple FACT is that this list is about intent. It was Blizzard's "intent" to have player housing back when WoW was in beta, they even had the instances in major cities setup for it (though blocked) and when it came to execution it never happened. By ESO expressing intent that touches on the frustration of the players, they are in fact delaying the exodus from the game. Its a common practice, you need to give the frustrated players something to chew on, some "hope" to keep them from dropping it entirely. That is what is being done. You can be in denial all you want, and if it makes you feel better all the more power to you.
Additionally, I never said they were rushing anything, those are your words and lack of reading comprehension that has come to that conclusion. What they are doing is trying to create hope and or the impression of some form of communication that development is occurring. The general practice, btw, is that once a game goes live...the development team either gets moved onto another project or is let go...with a live team, much smaller than the original team doing the rest. The reason for this is to cut cost and generate profit. You need to assume that whatever resources they have had going into the game will not all be there post launch.
I dont think ESO will break the pattern of most mmorpgs which generally means huge losses to player base in the 2-3 month post launch period, the trend of losing subs has never been reversed based on what we have seen. Final Fantasy just released the game, which was smart and thus they broke that pattern. Will ESO have to do the same or will it be f2p soon enough? I'm putting my money on fp2 in order to recoup the rediculous $200 million dollar budget of the game.
Dont agree? Well then only time will tell. The odds would not be in your favor if so.
I'm a little dismayed with how they are handling VR levels. Within a year, we'll be seeing such a huge gap between the people who are at the top and those who are just hitting 50. It will be the same issues WAR had all over again.
Got through it all now, and while I see a lot of good changes, I also see a lack of necessary fixes. Nightblades need A LOT of unlisted fixes, Werewolves got nerfed but are already broken being usability, and there's nary a mention of many gameplay issues that seem to be server related. I'll be skeptical going into this even if the list is long.
What is BAD about the list is the VR and VR strengthening. The power curve is apparent, Craglorn is just ramming in the tired-and-true "make them grind so they can't leave" power creep into the game and I honestly don't see why that is wanted or needed. Its the worst way to try and keep people involved.
Well I tried it and Elder Scrolls Online was a very interesting and promising concept, but I am seeing more gridy-looking "content" which bares little resemblance to what I am looking for.
With all of the promising looking sandbox based mmos in the pipe, I am not going to waste my time on yet another monkey grinder. I may or may not check in a few month from now.
Those patch notes are actually underwhelming. A step in the right direction sure as ESO is plagued by issues, but still very underwhelming. Most of the class and weapon changes are under the hood stuff that most people don't even notice.
Most of the other changes are bugs that a triple A game should never have been launched with. Doesn't matter if the patch notes are 3 pages long if they don't address issues that are causing people to leave the game.
They are not changing issues that is causing people to rage and affect gameplay immensily.
_Bolt Escape is still at large and spammable.
_Vampire Mist is still at large and spammable. It removes your faction icon and health bar making you pratically invisible and immune in a spammable fashion.
_Both of these can still be spammed while carrying a scroll.
_AOE damage is still too powerful overall.
_Vampire Swarm is still too powerfull since it can be used while spamming Vampire mist for immunity.
_Horses disappearing making us dismount ALL THE TIME is still an issue. An issue they said they fixed before launch and it's still there.
_Getting out of combat is still an unknown mechanic, sometimes we get out of combat being able to re-sneak very quickly, other times it takes forever even if you are in the middle of nowhere alone.
_Animations fixes don't include stuck animations that prevent you from casting anything unless you press ESC.
_Weapon Swap still is unresponsive.
These issues would change pvp gameplay tremendously and remain completely untouched.
The only good news I see pvp-wise is that they are increasing the overall stats of the bolster mechanic, maybe people won't die with 2 hits anymore, it's not even fun to kill. How much of an increase this will be in order to have a positive impact is still unknown.
They also improved XP gained in pvp by kills but after making PVP an inviable way to level your character, this is useless.
Overall fixes are always welcome to an insanely buggy game, on the other hand I've already noticed a huge decrease in PVP population and these changes won't bring them back unfortunately.
"They don't care about the game, it is just a cash grab and they will never fix anything"
*patch notes come out with steps in the right direction*
"They are just doing that because of the negative response/it isn't good enough right this second"
Don't get me wrong, the game will always have issues and it is lackluster, but it is funny to watch the haters fall on their face. God I love these forums.
I would consider a hater someone who bashes the game despite not buying it, and possibly never playing it or not playing it enough.
It's not really just to call someone a hater that spent more than $60 on the game. They obviously wanted to play the game and like it, but something in the game changed their mind. The fact that those people come on the forum to vent their displeasure and let downs doesn't make them haters. It makes them unhappy customers.
I fit in the latter. ESO has a lot of issues, more so than I think is reasonable to put up with for a released game. The "patch notes" are actually for the PTS, not the live client. In the state of the game letter, he mentioned things on the PTS could take weeks to make it to live, if I remember correctly, not to mention anything on the PTS can be changed at any time.
So with the game approaching the end of its first month, releasing patch notes for the PTS doesn't encourage anyone playing on the live servers to keep playing. Assuming everything on the PTS works out, that patch won't hit the live servers until after the first month.
I don't know about the rest of the unhappy customers, but I'm willing to give the game another shot in the future after they fix their game, but only if they give me a free 3-7 days to test it out again. I refuse to give them anymore money to "see for myself" if the game is ready and I won't take anyone elses word for it. ~$80 is all they get from me until then.
I wish the happy customers the best of luck and I hope you all enjoy the game, but please don't incite flame wars by calling unhappy customers "haters." We spent money on the game too and have just as much right to voice our opinion of the game as you all do.

A lot of the hater remarks refer to people who have never bought the game. There are a lot of these people even in this thread.

You cant spam the vampire ultimate (bat swarm) - I'm sorry you just can't.
Are you talking about the Mist? That's not an ultimate - I'ts a skill. And since there are cooldowns, its working as intended until you run out of mana. There is nothing to fix.

Huh.. that looks like a good list of things that should have been done about a month ago.
Nice to see progress. I'll likely check back in in 6 months.
Read the rest of the thread, they comment on what will possibly go "live" hinting there will be even more. [mod edit]

Better than nothing. Atleast now players won't rush to chests instead of helping out team members in dungeons.
