Just like the issues with the main story line my character cannot progress into the VR6-10 zones because I cannot finish the 'Cadwell's Almanac" requirements. I've spent several days logging out, repeating, and repairing the game but to no avail I cannot progress.

I suppose I'll send in an e-mail to Zenimax tell them I want to obtain a refund and go back to playing less frustrating games like Dark Souls 2 since it just released. Seriously the game was fun when it worked but it has been an uphill struggle that has only become worse the further I progress. From falling through the world, not being able to use my skills and abilities, not being able to auto-attack, not being able to use my siege equipment, many broken quests many of which won't be fixed on the 1.1 patch release, to the infinite load screens, network I/O issues, the memory leak, and various other bugs or exploits.

Good by my little lizard man~ I'll miss you but I must move on and to commemorate this occasion a video:

Next comes the fans who say "Bugs?  What bugs?"

Sorry Mtibbs.. I didn't even make it that far.  I hit major storyline bugs in the second or third zones.  I relogged about 30 times without result.  Switched to a different faction.  Except right around the same point in the factions questline I was bugged.  So I switched to the third faction.  I saw one of the quest bugs was resolved but we'll see.

    And I always preferred:

While I completely understand why you are quitting the game do you really think a whole new thread was needed to announce this to everyone? I mean there are countless threads discussing the issues people are having with the game. I think you could have just posted in those instead of making a whole new post for all the naysayers(justified and unjustified) and defenders(right or wrong) to come into.

Hope you have better luck with your next game.

Interesting. Several members of the guild I am in are VR10. Funny how they were able to get past VR5.

    Well goodbye.

Op i have learned at these forums giving your honest opinion about the game, that it only will get flamed by other people. I totally agree with u and understand your reason why u stopping withe the game. I  am also in the vet rank grind and will not continue like this, i just also need to force myself to overcome the boring vr grind but i just can't, i tried everything but most of the time the game is working against you.

Gl with a other MMO man!

Same - yes there are some bugged quests but I personally have only experienced 3-4 total (logging out an dback in resolved others) and it definitely has not stopped me from reaching VR8 at all.  Plenty of ways to get the XP besides quests.

Man how can you expect a refund. You put more hours into eso, then i play computer in a month. I quit too, not really due to bugs as you put it. I never encountered any game stopping bugs, although i only made it to lvl 11. I am quiting because of bots, and no economy and the crafting is stupid. I mean there is no nothing to it. The resources are static, they dont have stats, they are useless after you level up. The crafting every one is the same, every one can make the same stuff.

There is also no economy, no one really wants to trade. The crafting is just a money sink, nothing brakes. There is no death penalty.

I will just play skyrim with, ghost death where you lose everything when I die........... As for pvp, i seriously doubt it is any good, but that is just a guess. Sounds to me like a bad copy of DAOC, and that has alot more content.

Let's see.  There were two on one faction.  One was were you were in a grave yard with the multicolored gems that you had to set in the pattern.  It wouldn't let me click.  Reset UI didn't work.  The same faction was this Guardians quest thing where you were unlocking two guardians in order to lock up the spirit/golem you released in the city earlier.

Another faction I was locked out at one of the Queen quests where the priestess' wouldn't interact.  I also remember having issues getting ghosts to talk to me.  (pretty sure same faction)

The last one, I was locked out of the initial instance and that's when I quit.

I thought it would be rather different with some funny moments thrown in. I also don't see many quitting threads. Just a lot of "this game sucks" threads.

Consider the " this game sucks" threads as people that will quit also, not all but most of them.

Yeah, most VR10 players used an exploit to bypass all of the questing. Unfortunately those cheaters still remain in the game, ;)

    Winner.

     Simple, because I can.

Lol well they arent gonna give you one. That is like buying a movie ticket and watching the whole thing, and being like well it sucked, give me back my money.

I cant understand your mentality of playing something for 20+ days, and how many hours, all for like 60 bucks. You obviously had fun in the game, or you never would of made it to lvl 50. That is crazy  to think you deserve a refund.

The only vr10 people in my guild got there using the dungeon bug. Went from VR6 to VR10 in about 5 hours and made 200k+ gold each selling white drops, not not to mention getting stacks of purple crafting mats since the mobs dropped boss loot. The reason you see so any vr10 ' in pvp now is due to this bug. Most of these people would be 8 or 9 right now if they were doing it legit and they wouldn't be in full legendaries (not exaggerating).

Well since I don't want to start another thread with a similar issue I will just use yours then. I have a decision to make which I did not think I would be facing. The free month is almost up and I find myself feeling that maybe I should cancel my renewal. I have greatly enjoyed the game so far but I will admit I have been soloing the entire time I have played. I am now asking myself should I continue to pay to play what is essentially for me a single player game. Now let me make it clear that I know I can group, that the options are there but I am just not likely to use them. I am interested in the PVP also but see no reason to engage in it until VR10 so that also makes me question renewing my sub. I have some thinking to do I guess.

Yeah, we had about 4-5 guildmates who used the exploit as well. They're still chugging away at the game.

And this is kinda the reflection about the current state of the game and what all it is about. It's about Exploit to bypass the boring grind, on the other hand i can't blame those players: 1st it can be done and second who is willing to take on the endless grind to vr10, no one. It is just a fail once more from zanimax, to let it happen.

Or, more often, people who haven't played the game at all, or who played it for a weekend in beta.  There is a list of people who have logged a ton of posts in this forum and who fall into this category.  For them:  how can we miss you if you don't leave?

For some reason I think you guy's would have stopped playing MMORPG's to never come back if you had experianced the old games.

I honostly laugh at the little bugs and issue's the game seems to have mainly because the game is not even a month old. Sure those issue/bugs needs to be fixed ASAP and of course I don't like to see my fellow gamer be hindered due to the issue's.

But I do feel it's a shame today's people into these games give up that easely. And no please do not continue playing a game if bugs really bother you or hinder your enjoyment, do something else, play another game if you are in a gaming mood. Give the game some time.
