if you don't have time to farm/earn your things online or play the game then just don't play the game simple as that.
Why? We are talking about games here, it is not like there is a moral code. So what if some "cheat" and have fun.
Are you going to be angry because some are using god modes in their games? Personally i don't spend money in cash shop (well, i did buy a DLC of characters off steam on a MMO, i wonder if that counts), and certainly don't buy gold, but i don't see a reason why I should care if others have their fun some other way.
real life money should have no business or effect how much you have in a virtual world and should be no part of it /thread
its like someone for instance starts making up a baseball team and you play vs a rich kid who hires professional baseball players for his own team ( sounds like old cartoons lol ). etc ( insert analogy here ). your real life wealth should not reflect in any way the way you are able to play and compete with others online.
P.S-
if you don't have time to farm/earn your things online or play the game then just don't play the game simple as that.
i really hate when someone brings that logic to the topic. This is the same thing as someone paying another person to take their SAT or exams in their place for money // do their essays/homework/etc ( insert anything here ) just because they make a lot of money and are too lazy to do it themselves. They are a piece of filth at the end of the day.
i really do hate lazy players who buy gold they definably ruin a lot of the games for reasons already explained throughout this thread.
Wow dude first I am sure there are plenty of people who think people like you suck and ruin they games. First your poor analogy about the sat/homework ect is pathetic that's real life buddy completely different than an online video game /facepalm
so because a person has a job, a wife, kids, real life responsibilities and doesn't have time to farm/grid they should play because you don't think they should? Is that what you are saying?
Someone buying gold would be more along the lines of paying for a front row seat at the Stanley cup finals for $9000. They think they will have a better experience than paying $500 for upper deck.
Its entertainment its it's not up to you how others enjoy their entertainment if you get that worked up over a player buying gold maybe you shouldn't be playing video games.

I believe some of your points are off.
If a person has a lot of things to occupy their time that they deem more important perhaps they don't need to play games that consume a lot of time. There are a lot of games out there that don't consume a lot of time. Since we are using sports it's like saying I don't have time to play soccer. I'm just going to pay so I can skip to the important parts of the game where I score the winning goal and it's fun. The rest I don't have time for.
The Stanley Cup point seems invalid because you are watching a sporting event, but it would be more like paying to skip to only watch the important parts of the game (to you) and skipping out on the ones you don't deem important. That is basically impossible in a sport though.
There is a lot of entertainment out there right now. I don't believe everything has to work for everyone. If a game takes a long time it is for people who are willing to make time to play it IMO.

what i meant to say is that every single game should not cater to every single person on the face of the planet. There are plenty of casual/non time consuming/single player games ( heck plenty of multiplayer games that doesn't involve a lot of time as well such as league of legend for example ).
this egocentric mentality is just dumb you have responsibility, etc? cool story bro so do a lot of other people does this mean the game developers have to bow down to your every demand just because a individual doesn't have time to play? come on this just makes whoever says these comments look bad. If someone can not play a hardcore, or a game that requires a lot of time being consumed they can simply move on or play a plethora of other games as i explained before. ( this entire argument is dumb as it is )
albeit my analogy were horrible i was merely trying to explain how someone who pays to cheat and skip games makes on sense and its just plain wrong. Why do some people care if someone cheats or not? because its a massive multiplayer game, if they were don't in a single player environment no one would really care but when you are playing with others and are just paying your way to victory its just sad and wrong in so many ways. Not to mention it supports botters/cheaters/account thief, etc. I am all for supporting cash shops that goes directly into the developers hard work but not pay to win. gold buying is pretty much pay to win = i defend what i said before.

And they don't. Some cater to RTS fans. Some cater to hack-n-slash fans. Some cater to shooter fans. And so on ...
At the same time, you do believe devs should cater to whatever audience they deem fit, right? So what is the problem if there is no few hardcore players, and few devs decide to cater to them. They have no obligation to cater to everyone, do they?
Well there is no p2w in pve .. .just don't play pvp games and there will be no "winning", and so what if others are cheating?
Note that envious of other guy's sword + 10 is not "losing", it is just a case of sour grapes.
