Because Vanguard ends with this month and theres no replacement in sight.
I'll have to agree here,
Vanguard, Vanilla WoW and EQ2.
But since EQ2 went free to play that game is out.
You could put a sugar coating on all else but nothing is an mmo anymore, just fun games for a few weeks. Once you get past the learning phase, there all just liner story telling games from a to z, with lots of zoning, no reason to have a guild unless you like to talk about crafting.
I'm playing :
- Borderlands 2 co-op 4 player
- Vanilla WoW
- Go back to GW2 now and then ( But can only take it for about a week each time )
Waiting for :
Far Cry 4 ( will have co-op )

Disappointed in never ending search for my next REAL mmo
Board to death with mmos. I keep chasing the thrill of my 1st mmo but i know i will never get that feeling again, i hype myself up just to get board after a few weeks. Maybe archage could change that, but at the moment im playing Quake live and some cs:go when i have time.
Playing ESO at the moment until my sub runs out, I don't play much anymore. Activated "wow" to get reacquainted before expansion, remembering I hate MoP.
I know it's not an mmo, but most of my game time is devoted to Divinity Original Sin, which is a great game.
I don't have much time for gaming lately and an hour or two every other day coincides nicely with primetime on their servers. I get my online FPS and MMORPG cravings satisfied in one fell swoop and the progression curve is so horizontal I don't feel gimped for being casual.
Guild Wars 2 because I love Tryia, and the Guild Wars. My guild is still very active, we have lots of fun. I really enjoy the game, always finding new things within it and in all honestly (being one that bitched and moaned about the LS last year) Season two of the LS has started off great, and I am very excited for the next release.

I am currently playing The Repopulation, though its still in Alpha, since its under NDA, i cant tell much about the game,
yes, not a lot are playing, but there aren't anything else out there that caught my attention other than repopulation is the only thing i am into right now, yes its awesome, but wait until release it will be more epic
Playing some Wildstar, lots of D3 and some Skyrim.
Wildstar - only MMORPG that really has my attention at the moment, but I am playing it super slowly just because I do find all of the bling bling, BOOM, waaahhh noise and flashing lights all over the place tiring after a while. Also waiting for Carbiine to fix class bugs before I really get into it. Why do I play it? I like the world, I like the combat, and I like most of the other game systems.
D3 - because at heart I am mainly an ARPG player and this game hits all of the right buttons.
Skyrim - awesome, deep, immersive RPG.
Hoping for - EQNext being a good game.
Probably going to buy and play - Divinity Original Sin, Sacred 3 because, well why not??
I am currently pursuing women!!! yay women! I'm kind of tired of all mmos right now. But, if I find some new friends and girls I would play it with them! I wish I could have been old enough to play UO!!! To me, the mmos now a day is just your choice with different options. But, I am eager to try the new wod and new eqnext agenda. I might try.
I'm currently on World of Warcraft. It's funny how I got back into it - mind you I was never totally hooked on it. My main had about 400 hours on him, the other two had ~100. I playing Wildstar and started having the rose tinted glasses about WoW, so I resubbed to see if I was imagining how complete the game is. Turns out, WoW is pretty damn complete. To this day, I've yet to see another world that feels so world-like. The main hindrance was community, my old guild was too political and unhelpful. I found a new group of people from work and my gf, it's a million times better. With Wildtar's optimization issues, I decided to cancel my sub until it can run smoother. WoW has now taken center stage. I love the value of crafting, the mounts, the instances, the raids, the lore, and the fact there's actual role specialization.
I also occasionally play Guild Wars 2, Rift, and the Secret World. Of those, Guild Wars 2 gets the most attention. That was a game I loved - being the sequel to one of my favorite games. However, I'm really angry at its direction and pretty much login for a few small events and then log out. It's not a deep game and the changes its influenced in the industry are negatives in my opinion. Still, it has a fun combat system and is great for casual action. I suppose that's how it's meant to be. I still get the haunting feeling something is missing when playing it.
I want to like Rift. I really do. But Jesus, it's so boring and drab. It really highlights my problem with most recent MMOs. They don't feel like worlds. It's 'here's all of your faction's zone and the one path to max'. The skill system is functionally enjoyable, but again the artstyle just bores me to tears.
The Secret World was bought because I wanted to support the buy-to-play model and was looking for a good Lovecraftian game. It's a decent game, but with no friends playing I have scarce motivation to play it.
I used to not play any MMOs until recently when I started playing Final Fantasy XIV. Why? Well, I saw it for £7 so I thought why not, I have never played it before. I am liking most of it except the very low number of skills at low levels. I literally have 1 button to press to kill stuff :D:D
Mission in life: Vanquish all MMORPG.com trolls - especially TESO, WOW and GW2 trolls.
Everquest 2 and WOW simply because i love questing and no other MMO come close in terms of over all content and lore.

Right now it's ESO. I really like the setting and visuals. I do kind of wish I could have a couple more skills in my hotbar, but it's not a deal breaker for me.
I have Defiance, DC Universe, and EQ patched in case I want to jump in at some point.
For the 1st time since 1999 I'm not playing an MMO. I even went and had a look at EQ again but it's changed so much it's not the same game I used to play.
None of the newer games looked interesting enough to justify getting them either. Not much on the horizon looks that interesting either.
Looks like a long wait for Camelot Unchained. Maybe it's burn out or maybe it's the utter mediocrity of the genre right now but I'm really having a hard time finding something worthy of my time and effort.
Probably going to buy and play - Divinity Original Sin, Sacred 3 because, well why not??
I admit that right now my main game is D3.
Pretty much my plan. My main game is also D3 ... because 2.1 is coming, and I am prepping for it. My take is that D3 is probably going to hold my interests for some time after 2.1 but variety is always good.
Sacred 3 looks decent, and I am also considering Van helsing 2 .. i really like the first one.
Guild Wars 2. It's a duo-friendly MMO for my partner and me. And we're probably going to buy it for a friend who occasionally plays online games with us. And we don't have to worry about playing monthly fees... or so much about over leveling if we want to play with said friend.
Currently? FFXIV. After being bored or uninterested in everything else, this turned out to be a diamond in the rough for me. I've never even been interested in the FF universe, but they put together a good MMO with this one. Even if i were to quit today, I paid like 15 to get into it and its given me close to 80 hours of game play which is more than worth it.
- It's easy to get into
- Awesome sounds and visuals
- A decent story that follows your character to max level
- Plenty of side stuff to do (aside from questing)
- Can level every class and profession on one character
The game is great, there's a lot to it which means there's always something new to learn or check out. That's the big thing for me. If you get burnt out doing one thing, there's a whole ton of other stuff you can do which progresses your character in some way.
It's been a long time since I've experienced that kind of enjoyment from an MMO. Totally worth a shot if you're looking for a new game, it's cheap too.

Fine, we'll compromise. I'll get my way & you'll find a way to be okay with that.
I'll have to agree here,

Rift - I like everything about this game
Tera - I like the action combat, aesthetics, and BAM's
Wildstar - because it's frenetic and fun, plus I like the graphics and humour choice
The Secret World - what's not to like? The setting, customisation, and choices are excellent
Elder Scrolls Online - I like the setting, graphics, crafting, sounds, and the interaction with players

Chua are cool, but I prefer Lopp Stew and a pint of Old Squirglicker Brown Lager! Now that is what life is all about.
Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not.
GuildWars2 just to visit the weekly upgrades/changes and cause my gf plays WvW, and i join her when i can
also WoT but this is just an MMO not an MMORPG ...
waiting for ArcheAge and BlackDesert (Russian release at least.)

Playing MUDs and MMOs since 1994.
looking forward to gw2 actually..
EVE Online - Because it's the only real MMO, and because still manages to keep me hooked after playing it for 5 years.
Also, playing a little bit of Final Fantasy XIV again, but already getting bored with it :-/
