Does 100k registered users (which everyone knows is not active players) imply that it takes that many people to try the game to actually find enough people that like it to fill up a server? A Rift server was estimated to be between 1k - 5k so if we assumed that similar metrics apply then that is 5% or less retention since launch?
Or does the 100k reg users imply that people are not spending much time in the game and that it's playerbase is substantially more "casual" ?
I had thought about trying this game out, but with this information I'm not sure if it's a game that would interest me now.
All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick.
I get banned in the forums for games I love, so lets see if I do better in the forums for games I hate.

A few years back it was reported that WoW servers hosted around 40000 people with 4-5000 active at a time.
Wouldnt be beyond impossible that the improved computer capacity would have lifted the max registered per server to 100k and like 20-25k active at a time.

I don't hate much, but I hate Apple© with a passion. If Steve Jobs was alive, I would punch him in the face.
